How much does Adobe Premiere Pro cost?

By Matic Broz ·

The Adobe Premiere Pro cost has remained unchanged for quite some time now. And despite a minor pushback from the editor community regarding the latest visual update, Premiere Pro remains the number one video editing software.

Here are the best Premiere Pro deals right now:

Premiere Pro is part of the Adobe Creative Cloud and is, as such, also available with the CC All Apps plan and comes integrated with Adobe fonts and Adobe Stock.

How much is Adobe Premiere Pro?

To get Premiere Pro, you need a Creative Cloud subscription, either a Premiere Pro single-app plan or a Creative Cloud All Apps plan.

A Premiere Pro single-app plan costs $22.99 per month (with an annual commitment) and includes 100GB of cloud storage. If you opt for a month-to-month plan, the price goes up to $34.49 per month. If you prepay for a full year, the cost works out to $263.88 ($21.99 per month). There’s also a 7-day free trial.

You can also get Premiere Pro as part of the complete suite of Adobe Creative Cloud professional apps that includes After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, and the rest. That costs $59.99 per month with an annual commitment, $659.88 per year upfront ($54.99 per month), or $89.99 on a month-to-month basis with no commitment, and comes with a 7-day free trial.

How much is Premiere Pro for students?

While there’s no student discount on Premiere Pro plans, education users (students and teachers) can get a 66% discount on the All Apps plan. If you prove your eligibility, you can get All Apps for just $19.99 per month for the first year and $34.49 per month upon renewal.

To verify your eligibility, you can sign up for an Adobe account using a school-issued email address (.edu, .k12, or other domains sponsored by educational institutions). If you don’t have access to a school email, alternative proof such as a school ID card, report card, transcript, or tuition bill or statement also works.

How much is Premiere Pro for teams?

Teams can buy Premiere Pro with two different subscriptions: the Premiere Pro Teams plan for $37.99/mo per license, and the Creative Cloud All Apps Teams plan for $89.99/mo per license. There is no Photography plan for teams.

Compared to the Premiere Pro plans for individuals, teams get more cloud storage, an admin dashboard to manage licenses and projects, and better customer support.

Premiere Pro price: FAQs

Here are answers to some Premiere Pro pricing questions I haven’t answered yet.

Can I buy Premiere Pro outright?

Adobe no longer offers Premiere Pro as a one-time purchase; it is now available exclusively through a subscription model introduced with Adobe Creative Cloud in 2013.

Is there a Premiere Pro free trial?

Adobe offers a free trial of Premiere Pro, allowing you to test the software before committing to a subscription. During this trial period, you can explore the features and interface to determine if it meets your needs.

Should I get Adobe Stock with Premiere Pro?

During the purchase stage of Premiere Pro, Adobe will offer to include 10 Adobe Stock images with your Premiere Pro subscription for $29.99 per month and with a 1-month free trial.

Adobe Stock is natively integrated into most Creative Cloud apps, including Premiere Pro, which allows you to browse and import images, videos, templates, audio, and more in Premiere Pro without having to use a browser. At the same time, you can use watermarked previews of any number of assets and only license the ones that make it to the final version.
