I've never had much of an interest in learning PHP, at least not as my first non-HTML programming language, but I was recently given an incentive to do so. Keeping in mind that I learn things quickly and have a pretty good grasp of web technology and Unix and computers in general, BUT have never coded a non-HTML line in my life, what books/resources would you guys recommend for a total newb to start learning PHP?
