i used the iframe idea in the end, was a lot simpler than i would of imagined (usually is isn't it?)
i was hoping for an even simpler way though but it works and i'm happy
i xposted this in my journal and the montreal community but it gives you an idea of what i did
ok, i finished my little php script thingy
history:
for ages the guys and i have been saying we have to do this, this and this during the summer but either we forget about it or we never got around to it
so this year we decided to wtire it down
we figured if we wrote down 100 different things it would be enough incentive for us to do some of them, around 20 was the general idea
it took us 2 weeks to get a pen and paper...
then i figured only one of us would have the paper at any time so it would be a lot for us to keep track of 3 or 4 lists
i wrote this php thingy to keep track, that way anyone can post stuff
now that i wrote it, i figure this would be a great way to find out random events happening in montreal or toronto (we have plans to visit a friend in toronto and go to canada's wonderland)
also i figure this would be a great way to get a group of people to a specific event
