Hiya all, first post and all, just got a simple question for starters:
since I'm new to php, any advice setting up a site (http://www.gearz-design.com) where I can have dynamic updating, forum/comments etc.? I heard "movable-type" is good (a friend uses it) but I can't seem to get it set up on my server. Says it can't find the database on my server even though it also says it only needs one of 4 things to install properly, which that "one" thing that it recongnizes is dbd::mysql. has anyone used movable type? or does anyone recommend a different setup?
