project webcam to gallery.
I'm looking for anyone interested in either coding this, or working with me to code it.
It would be an addon for gallery that would allow users to select an image to be entered into a specific album. Basically, a visitor sees a funny or nice pose of you on your cam, and thinks you should add it to your archive. They click "add image to archive", and one of two possible routes are then taken:
- Make an album that allows anonymous posting, then add a link to the webcam page that would then upload that image into the gallery. This would be the easiest to code, but not the best when it comes to abuse.

- Allow users to 'suggest' an image. Basically, when the user clicks on "add image", it will be put into a queue that the admin would have to approve. The admin would see all the images, with the options ADD, DELETE, and LEAVE... Once they ADD an image, it will send the approved images to the gallery page and be added, along with any captions entered with the picture.
Suggestions for the code:
- To prevent abuse, only allow 5? submissions per hour, per IP
- Once the user clicks on submit, allow them to enter a caption for the picture.
- Require a valid e-mail address be entered on the caption and continue page, if a caption page is made.
This would be a very useful and highly used script. I've seen several posts on the gallery website, but nobody has looked into doing it.
