PHP Livejournal.com update client.
I don't know whether or not this is the relevant place to ask this question - so if you can redirect me then please do.
I was wondering whether anyone had ever tried to make a PHP based update client for livejournal - much like the update.bml system which is the standard. The idea would be that people would be able to update from there home webspace/hosting, and never need to see the actual livejournal interface. The system could also have the possability of getting arround web filters, which often prevent access to Livejournal due to its sometimes graphic content.
I am assuming that, since PHP can handle login systems and database access - it should be possible to use it to access the LJ server.
