Hey all, I am a newbie on PHP so I will be needing some help along the line.

I want to implement php on a form that I have on a site

now on the Contact Us page, I implemented pure javascript to have the email form work but it gives an alert that it will open up default mail to submit. I think this stops users from wanting to send emails because most hav ebeen told to click on cancel when reading alerts like that. I like a php script that not only will they be able to email their questions/comments from there and not get prompted to click on anything else but what is required, but also get a confirmation page thank you for your inquiry we will get back to you soon (almost like going to amazon and using the shopping cart feature which is done in ASP)

Can anyone be able to assist me with this?
