Tim Wise (Illinois State, Kappa Alpha ’26) is the February 2026 Pike of the Month.
Upon the provisional chapter’s return to campus in 2024, Wise immediately stepped into leadership by serving as chapter president, a role he has held for three consecutive years. The members recently celebrated the group’s installation as Kappa Alpha Chapter, marking the culmination of years of hard work and dedication from Wise and his leadership team.
Under his leadership, Kappa Alpha Chapter recently welcomed the largest spring new member class on campus with 19 men. Wise was recently recognized as chapter president of the year at the university’s greek awards. Additionally, he has served as vice president of administration for IFC since fall of 2024. He is also a member of Order of Omega.
Academically, Wise is in Illinois State’s accelerated computer science program, taking master’s level classes. Following graduation, he plans to pursue graduate school.
“Joining Pi Kappa Alpha has been nothing short of life-changing. Being elected President for the past three years has given me the opportunity to grow in the professional and leadership aspects of my life, forcing me to mature and learn lessons usually learned later in life,” Wise says. “The experiences I have gained, the challenges and mistakes I have made, and the successes I have celebrated have all made me who I am today, and I am forever grateful to Pi Kappa Alpha for being the reason.”
