NOTABLE CHARACTER INFORMATION
Summary: Once upon a time, a powerful archfey kidnapped a bullied tiefling child to the Feywild. Then the bullied tiefling child grew up into a sullen teenager and the powerful archfey decided to make her cute again by yanking out her ability to feel negative emotions. As a result, Chant is eternally cheerful and upbeat, totally unflappable even by things that really should disturb her, and has little in the way of caution or impulse control. That being said, she has a keen sense of displacement from the world around her due to her fucked up emotions and reactions, and longs for somewhere to belong. Growing up in the Feywild means that she takes the "rule of reciprocity" and promises very seriously; despite being a fucked up airhead, Chant's word is her bond.
Pings:
- vaguely demonic/infernal. Tieflings are descended from humans who made some unwise decisions regarding demon pacts. As a result, ~infernal energies~ were infused into their descendants.
- magic stuff. Chant's missing negative emotions were shoved into her shadow, so it's magical now.
Stats: For any other D&Ds out there.
Strength: 14 | Dexterity: 16 | Constitution: 14
Intelligence: 10 | Wisdom: 8 | Charisma: 15
Powers:
- Fighter, Level 5: She is buff and good at hitting things with sharp sticks. Can use all the weapons, but favors glaives because they're cool.
- Echo Shadow Knight: She has the Echo Knight archetype, reskinned so she's summoning her shadow instead of...whatever they do in Crit Role. She can briefly make her shadow a separate 3D being, with which she can do some nifty tricks like swap places with it to teleport.
- Magic: She knows a few spells (Thaumaturgy, Searing Smite, and Detect Thoughts).
Anything Else?: If you get close enough, she smells faintly of honey.
