Our Mission
PODER is a year-long program for first-generation, first year, and undocumented / DACA students. Our program is facilitated by upperclass students with shared experiences and background, empowering first-year students to feel confident in their identities and capabilities as they navigate their academic, professional, and personal success at Northeastern and beyond.
Eligibility
Students applying to Northeastern as a first-year student are eligible to apply to be part of the PODER cohort.
Program Benefits
Students prepare for their time at Northeastern through our workshops, our mentorship program, as well as our yearlong programming.
Impact
Started in 2019, the PODER program has continued to support its over 85 students in filling informational and network gaps through workshops, our mentorship program, and yearlong programming.
