PLEASE READ: While selling/buying merchandise on this community is allowed, it is better to use pkmncollectors. If you are banned from pkmncollectors, you are not permitted to sell here.

No drama. If you don't like Pokémon, why come here?
Please use the <lj-cut> tag if you are posting multiple or large images (over 500 by 500 pixels) and spoilers.
Please respect each other, do not cause fights within the community. Rude or otherwise insulting posts & comments will result in a warning or a ban.
Spam is not tolerated and anyone spamming will be reported and banned.
Do not double-post (posting an entry twice in a row).
You can post ads to other communities ONLY with a moderators approval. Make note of what mod approved your ad, so that it doesn't get deleted by accident.
Please be sure to read the FAQ list before asking any questions as they may have already been answered.
No introduction posts. A short intro before a post of substance is okay, but do not post purely to introduce yourself.
Do not remove the comment feature from entries, as you will either have your entry deleted or you will be banned. This applies for comment deletion, also.
When joining, if your journal is empty or newly made and we are on moderated membership, it may be rejected.

No shiny Pokemon posts or announcing that you've caught a certain Pokemon! These are too user-specific to be appropriate to such a large community! [This has always been in mod posts but newly added to this list of rules.] Try shinypoke instead!

While not absolutely required, if you're asking a question that you know other people would be interested in the answer to, tag your post!

Using your DS and a wireless connection, you can pretty much trade with anyone, anywhere on Pokémon Diamond and Pearl versions. Posts looking for trades are allowed here, unless they get to be out of hand. Try at pokewifi first if you're looking for something - you're more likely to get results there than here.

We have a FAQ list that can help with the more commonly asked questions here. If you have a short, little question and want to ask it there, feel free to! Also, if you know something that should be added to the list, you can suggest it and we'll add it to the FAQ as soon as possible.
