Hi. I'm Nathan 👋

I go by /polarhive on the internet. I blog about tech, free/libre software and minimalism. Check out my /wiki 🌱 I love indie websites; this site is handcrafted in pure HTML+CSS.

CS student working on backend and infra: primarily using {Go, Python, and GNU/Linux}. I love simple design, observability, and long-term maintainability. Active contributor to free and open-source software.

Previously interned at Golain (an IoT startup), helping refactor core components, and The Innovation Lab, working on microservice optimization techniques and cloud-computing research. Built eloop: An all-in-one event-management and ticketing platform (RBAC, dynamic forms, QR check-ins) serving 250+ users at various hackathons.

Open to internship opportunities (Summer 2026 and in-semester). Interested in hiring me? [email protected]
