Got a tip? Submit anonymous reports to UNC Police through the Silent Witness program. Witnesses are asked to provide as many details as possible about the crime including its location and any potential suspects. Reports are only identified by a unique number and will be reviewed by the Criminal Investigations Unit.

The Carolina Ready Safety App includes emergency alerts, tools for staying safe on campus, emergency response guides, campus maps and a variety of health, wellness and campus accessibility resources, including a notification option for elevator outages.
UNC Police is undergoing the reaccreditation process through the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA). As a part of this process, UNC Police is requesting public feedback from the Carolina community.
