DAY 1
One of my favorite things that we do each year is plan and go on our camping trip up to the White River National Forest. Usually we ride with someone or borrow a truck, but this year we have our very own 1990, 4 wheel, 2500 ton, dodge 18 passenger van! We had to do a few repairs to get it running. Shane was completely excited about it. For me-well, it was nice to have a lot of room.

After hiking down Spring Creek for 1 1/2, we decided to stop and try the fishing. It was raining, so while Shane fished a little, the boys and I took cover under a tree. (Real smart, huh, since it was also thunder and possible lightening) It started to hail and so Shane joined us for a while. After waiting for almost an hour and a good prayer, the hail and most rain stopped. So we got up and hiked out.

| Thank goodness for the ergo baby carrier. The boys were too tired to walk out so we had to take turns carrying them. |

My favorite picture. 3 hours later back at the top. .Next time we're bringing a packing goat or mule. Too much work. The view was beautiful. Lots and lots of bear tracks and poop, but thankfully we didn't see anything.
