Oh God... Being Canadian, I really didn't give 2 shits about the American election. (Blah blah... it affects me, yes. can i do anything about it? no...) so i ignored it. At first it was bearable; I was able to walk out of a room, start a new conversation or even just completely ignore people when the conversation turned to the election. But seriously, now? I'm already sick of hearing about Obama winning the election. Do people really think it's going to make some huge difference? I doubt it. There's an old saying...Same shit, different pile. (Now before all you Obabma lovers start sending me hatemail and letter bombs, let's make one thing clear. I have as much indifference towards Obama as I do McCain. I really don't care about either one)
So...Let's mosey on over to the internet to look up some things about the campaign. Let's see....Oh! The man just finished the most expensive campaign in history. Hmmm... i wonder where he got the money. Something tells me people will be knocking at his door for their collection pretty damn quickly. And, wow.... looks like he's planning to put all kinds of money into lots of different programs. I wonder where he's going to get all that money. Could it be the same rich people who just lined his pockets? I doubt that. All i know is that there's going to be one hell of a lot of broken election promises in the next few years. I give the guy 4 years, then he's gone....

I am such a bloody moron! I've been here in germany for 5 days already, and I completely forgot to to post a blurb about leaving.
