Established in 1970, Positron Inc is a holding and operating company that provides financial, marketing and operations services to its subsidiaries which include Positron Power, Positron Access Solutions and Positron Investments.

Positron’s customers include most North American tier 1 carriers and 200 other carriers and 150 power utilities. Positron Inc. and its subsidiaries are headquartered in Montreal, Canada, with offices in the U.S. and Latin America, and resellers and agents in Europe and Asia.

Positron Power

Positron Power is a subsidiary of Positron Inc founded in 1970 with headquarters in Montreal, Canada. Positron Power develops and manufactures world leading products for Power utilities in Montreal with support available around the world.

Positron’s testers for energized insulators on transmission lines and on equipment in substations are used by utilities to prevent power outages, equipment damage and danger to personnel. They also serve as preventative maintenance tools and safety tests to ensure safe conditions for personnel working in high voltage environments.
Positron also provides high voltage isolation and protection products to protect communication equipment and personnel in substations and other high voltage facilities.

Positron Access Solutions Corp.

Positron Access Solutions Corp. is a sister subsidiary company.

Positron Access specializes in carrier grade telecommunications products that enable managed symmetrical gigabit bandwidth to residents in residential (MDU) and multi-tenant (MTU) buildings, Hospitality (hotels) and healthcare facilities over the existing telco wiring or coax, with no rewiring, no disruption.
