SCREWFIX FOUNDATION SUPPORTS THREE MORE SCOTTISH CHARITIES WITH FUNDING FOR VITAL COMMUNITY PROJECTS

  The Screwfix Foundation is delighted to award grants to three more charities across Scotland to fund essential projects that improve, repair and maintain facilities for people in need. These grants will fund the improvement of spaces that serve as lifelines for local people. From refurbishing facilities to purchasing new equipment, the grants will help make a meaningful impact across the community. Positive Steps Positive Steps is a non-profit Christian charity that supports vulnerable adults in Dundee through crisis care, bereavement support and housing support services. This funding will help refurbish accommodation, allowing the charity to provide safe, welcoming homes to even more people in need. Signpost International Signpost International, a community development charity, transforms surplus food into nutritious meals for families across Dundee. With funding from the Screwfix Foundation, the charity has installed an EV charge point to power its electric van, enabling them further to facilitate over 300 meals each week to go to local foodbanks and larders across the city. Just Bee Productions Just Bee Productions is dedicated to supporting vulnerable families facing challenges with poverty, mental health struggles and addiction. Their latest initiative, a peer support group, offers help to children with additional needs. With funding from the Screwfix Foundation, Just Bee Productions will create a sensory room where children can play and connect, while their parents benefit from dedicated one-to-one support.
