ProCodeCG Kids Regular Coding Class – 11 Jan 2020

Our first class in a new place: RedsDipo Dipati Ukur Bandung 🙂

Fadhlan has a new plan for SNAPBOT 3

Fadhlan will start with one motor driver and will modify the code from SNAPBOT 1 and 2 to work with the new config

that way we can be sure that the basic functions will work

and then we will step by step modify the code to control the added components

Ara has got 2 assignments today

one is to see how vulnerable people to social engineering and get their Google Sign-In easily

Ara finished the first assignment but not yet the Facebook Sign In. should finish it next week 🙂

Badi

Badi have to test the project from the last class

because Badi has to understand how basic components works to move on to the next project 🙂

Kibie

is very excited to learn how to create games today 🙂

Fab is still figuring out how to fix the code for his game because one object does not work as expected

Fab has changed the room, recreated the objects, retype the code and everything but it still didn’t work. we also had created a dummy object to see if things work with the object and it did. but for the object enemy, still didn’t work. going to fix this very soon (in one case, the problem was caused by the room setting. in the other, the object setting or sprite setting. we still need to find the source of the problem)

ProCodeCG – Coding Camp End 2019 – Minecraft Modding, Python Programming & GO LANG – Day #3 – 28 Dec 2019

The last day but usually the most fun day 😀

Rifqi now can write his own JavaScript codes to create structures in Minecraft 🙂

now he can make simple structures like this with JavaScript and modify the code to change the blocks

and then create another structures with different colors 🙂 this is how kids learn about geometry, structures and programming logics 🙂

Syafaq has written his own codes in JavaScript too 🙂

and surprisingly, Tasaq, the youngest in the group, can write the code without error and can run it smoothly too 🙂 very well done Tasaq!

ProCodeCG – Coding Camp End 2019 – Minecraft Modding, Python Programming & GOLANG – Day #2 – 27 Dec 2019

Day #2 is always more fun because the kids are know each other now so they start to collaborate and help each other 🙂

Abil is learning basic programming visually today to be more familiar with sequence, conditionals, looping and functions 🙂

Rifqi is going to do Minecraft Modding in Tasaq’s world today 🙂

we’re setting up the server to be directed to Tasaq’s IP address

and then give Rifqi access from Tasaq’s server

So today Rifqi, Syafaq and Tasaq are building their structures together in one world 😉

Syadad starts to learn machine learning today 🙂

Syadad will make the machine learns good and bad words, and it will smile each time we enter good words and will frown each time we enter bad words 🙂

Al is ready to start a new machine learning project

while also helping Syadad to get started with machine learning

Vey wants to learn about robotics but he has to go through basic electronics lessons 🙂

Aidia is changing the code based on the numbers we got from the experiments last week

we tried to assemble the circuit but some of the components do not fit. we cannot test the sensor until we place it securely

Cean is doing lots of things today

he created a windows os simulator with scratch

and then created a searching engine simulator with HTML, CSS and JavaScript

a very impressive work for a very young kid like Cean 🙂

Boy wants to work on GameMaker today 🙂

He’s still very interested in this topic 🙂 Which is ok since we still have lots of projects to be done in this topic 😉

This is how we make our Saturday well spent 😉

Aidia has many talents

Boy tried to create a traffic light with button project today

but still didn’t work because it has to many wirings. we agreed that Boy will start with one LED and one button first before continuing to this one 🙂

ProCodeCG Kids Regular Coding Class – 28 Sept 2019

This is our Saturday 🙂 How’s yours?

Syathir is starting to create a game 🙂

He had created some of the sprites last week and today he started to create a room

adding sprites to the room

the more sprites the merrier 😀

Syathir looks very excited exploring what he can do with GameMaker, so we just let him improvise 😀

Aidia’s plan is to install the components and the circuits

to this delicately built structure

but first we have to test the sensor again because last week it wouldn’t read anything

and finally it did read some values but we still need to calibrate the sensor to make sure it detects the correct colors

we need to re-scale the readings to fit the numbers processed by the code

Kinan is still building her Agario Game

Today she started to make the player gets bigger when it eats the food

Clive

had finished all he wanted to do with the maze game 🙂

So he may start another game: a shooting game. Look how Clive created a sequence of slightly different sprites to give smooth animation

done with creating sprites and making this character shooting. Will add more complexity to the game in the next class 🙂

Sam is given a new project: to detect object and give it a price, so that later we can scan different objects to get the total price 🙂

the command below is to generate 8 char length md5 hash of uppercase letters

Syadad is still figuring out the Minecraft setting to connect to Arduino with Minecraft Link

Neo is running out of time. The competition will be started next week

and he is finding the most simplest way to send Arduino sensor readings to a browser

Zaaka has been adding more advanced techniques to the game 🙂

including animations

and some other features to make the game feel more realistic and running smoothly

Kishan is doing the same thing with the game 🙂

He added more sprites, more animations, more tricks that surely increase the awesomeness level of the game 😉

Mika is creating his first game with GameMaker 🙂

He has learned to create some sprites, making objects and put them in a room 🙂

Next time we will learn to make the objects move 😉

Reporting how we spend our Saturday morning 🙂

Faiz voluntarily wants to learn Python programming 🙂 So started with downloading and installing Python

and then following the handout to learn basic syntax and commands

Fab is struggling with installing GameMaker because the laptop does not support the old version and apparently refuse to install .NET libraries required. So we spent some time to find work around to solve this and we decided to download GameMaker Studio 2 instead 🙂 *so sorry that we forgot to take pic of Fab due to the high activities in the class 😦

Al finished a Machine Learning project today

He’s seriously working hard preparing lots of code for constructing many structures for exhibition 😉

Aidia has to fix the Automatic Railway Gate project, Capt. Awa helped debugging the circuit 🙂 Later, Capt. Faris helped too 🙂 The robot is having some problems too and we’re going to fix it before the exhibition 🙂

Neo has just joining in the class today, he’s got a really serious project for a competition in the next October 🙂

ProCodeCG – Coding Camp – Minecraft Modding – Day #3 – 6 July 2019

The last day of Minecraft Modding Coding Camp already 🙂 Today we picked where we left yesterday and signed in to one server to play together and test the codes we’ve been developing for the last three days 🙂

Bita is going to create a skyscraper today 🙂

instead of creating rainbow skyscraper, she created a German Skyscraper 🙂 Impressive 🙂

Aidia is exploring both RedStone and JavaScript coding 😉
