Michael Brunson, Ashley's friend from Idaho, just left this morning for the MTC. He is staying state side so he will be in Provo for three weeks before he goes to his mission in Des Moines, Iowa. We are all very excited for him! He will be a great missionary. Ba-bye cell phone. See you in two years!!!!!!

Personal Progress!!
So, we decided it was long past due since we updated our blog so we went on a spree updating lots! One thing we failed to post almost a whole year ago was Ashley. She recieved her Young Women's Medallion. She worked very hard to get that and is happy to say she has finally finished!
Patti came home from a trip to Utah and was bugging Ashley to finish her Personal Progress. Ashley very obediently said, "Okay mom! We can work on it together tonight!" then in church that day, the Bishop says over the pulpit, "Can we please have Ashley Prodromides come up front. We would like to congratulate her on her hard work as a Young Women. She has completed her Young Women Recognition Award as she has completed all of her Personal Progress." Patti had NO idea that she had completed it while she was in Utah visiting Lisa. Dang, we missed that Kodak moment.

Nathan's 15th Birthday
For Nathan's birthday he got 6 tickets to Mussleman Honda Circuit. We waited till the weather got nice to go celebrate his 15th birthday.

He got to take 5 friends with him.
Madison Snell, Ashley, McKenna Hartman, Nathan, Jacob Eberhard, Ethan Snell

They had a blast racing those go-karts, but maybe we will wait till they all get their license before we take them again.

Nathan is ready to go!

And of course they needed a chaperone! Patti and Kevin secretly were living their dream! (No Oro Valley cops around here!)

Nate Handcock's Baptism
Michelle's boyfriend, Nate Handcock decided to follow the Savior's example and get baptized. We are very excited for him and look forward to watching his testimony grow. How can a day be any better?
Elder Briggs baptized Nate.

We are so proud of him! (I do not know where Nathan disappeared to)

Ashley's car crash
Patti was suppose to go to Phoenix today and forgot her bluetooth at home. Ashley and Nathan volunteered to bring it to her while she was gassing up at the Circle K down the street. After they delivered the blue tooth to Patti she followed them up Thornydale to catch the freeway at Twin Peaks. Ashley and Nathan crashed and totaled their (Grandpa Gibb's) car. Luckily, Patti was only 3 cars behind them and was able to help them all the way through the process. Sorry to say, Patti never made it to Phoenix.
Ba-bye stick shift! :'(
Have you ever seen an airbag blow? Did you know the car fills up with smoke? If your face gets hit, you glasses and nose will get broken as well.

Ashby's come to Tucson
Lisa and the girls came to Tucson while Devin made a business trip to Central America. Ashley stayed with Lisa, and went on another date, and then helped her drive from SLC to Tucson. (I guess the boys in Tucson better take some lessons from Utah and Idaho on dating. Ashley had a lot of fun this summer.)
Trevor, Lisa's brother in law brought his kids over and we all took a bath in the pool. 95 degrees, I think YES! Even the baby loved the water. Can you see Amber and Kerisa practicing their swimming skills?

Family Vacation
The family took a long vacation to Idaho and Utah this summer. We had lots of fun and did quite a few things. Last trip Ashley and Patti took to Utah, Lisa's neighbor Sierra and Ashley decided they wanted to go do something new and fun together. So, Sierra took Ashley to Lagoon. Her first experience! What a blast. While they were there, Ashley wanted to ride this one ride in particular that Sierra wasn't so sure about going on. Ashley decided to go alone and while she was waiting in line, met a bunch of guys from Idaho! They swapped numbers and have been texting since then..

The boys from Idaho found out Ashley was going to be in Pocatello in a few weeks and asked her out of a few different dates. Kellan took her to the driving range for her first golf lesson. What way does the ball fly?!?

Grandpa would be so proud of her!

Oh no! We are spinning!

Now it is time for the parents to go! Kevin, Patti, Lisa and Devin. Nathan, will you give us a push?

Oh no! We are spinning!

At Steadman's Ranch they had this candy cannon that was sure to please the crowd!

Go get some candy kids!! This is better than an Easter egg hunt!

The Prodromides' clan at that Kramer Reunion!

Don't you think Devin is a little out numbered? 5-1, yeah that seems fair!

Ashley won again!! They have bonded well.

Next in line for bonding. Michael, one of the Idaho boys she met at Lagoon, also wanted to take Ashley out on a date, but she simply had no more free days to go on a date. So, he came along to the family reunion. Gotta meet the family sometime. Wasn't even scared off by the klan.

After a long day partying, no one felt like cooking dinner. Sizzler buffet, here we come!

Bell's come to Tucson
Steven and Emily brought Wyatt down to Tucson for the 4th of July and to celebrate his 2nd birthday with us. We had lots of fun and look forward to them coming again for Christmas.

Opening presents! not quite sure what to do...

Does this look like a dude from Vegas?!

Nathan could tell Wyatt needed some help playing with all his cool toys!
Looking a little happier with his life jacket on!

Trip to Lisa's
Ashley and Patti made a quick trip to Utah to go see those darling little girls of Lisa's.

In looking at Lisa, you would never be able to tell she just had a baby. Looking at Ashley, you would think it was hers. Eden LaShay is an incredibly patient baby (not demanding) and is willing to wait when needed. Fortunately Patti, Ashley and Kerisa compete to get to her first.

Briley has learned to climb the monkey bars. She loves being at the park and would stay there all day if she could.
Briley and Kerisa help decorate the fruit pizza with Grandma Patti.

Amber decided she wanted a fruit pizza for her birthday cake this year. We would happy to make that possible. We made many trips to Costco and ate a lot of fruit during the few weeks we were there. She comes by it honestly.

Happy 7th Birthday Amber!
Kerisa beat Ashley to Eden this time! Isn't this so cute?! She is such a good little helper. ...reminds me of Ashley.
Eden's baby blessing was a busy day. After church we had lots of family and friends that came for a picnic in the backyard.

Briley and Ashley all ready for church!

Alllllmost ready for church.. Not quite.
Eden in her blessing dress, the same dress Lisa was blessed in, hand knitted by Patti.

We spent a lot of time in the garden while we were with Lisa. Devin, Lisa and Patti made the chicken run a few months ago. When Ashley came up, Patti and her weatherized the run to protect it.

Amber and Kerisa were in swim lessons this summer. It was fun to go watch them progress as they got more comfortable in the water. We are looking forward for them to come to Tucson and swim in our pool. They are ver brave girls.

Two peas in a pod, in more ways than one.

Angry Birds
Mom came home from a week at Lisa's house and Kerisa got her hooked on playing Angry Birds. The kids could not beleive it and then all wanted to play it with her. It was prime time competition for a while. :)
