Java Team Lead Moscow ($3000-3500)
Well-known Investment Bank has an opening of Java Team Lead to work at the Bank’s office in Moscow with a primary move to Hong Kong for 3 months.
Role summary
It is a front to back quoting and trading system for customized exotic derivatives. It has grown rapidly to support the business, and now needs to be re-architected into service based architecture. It will be the first adopter of a new set of components that can be re-used across multiple applications.
The role will require the ability to perform technical analysis of the existing application to understand how to best decompose it in a controlled manner. Functionality will need to be re-implemented in well designed and implemented, robust components with appropriate automated unit and system tests.
Candidate Requirements
- Technology:
Core Java, XML, JMS, Spring, Hibernate, Linux, Oracle (+ JSP, JDBC, MQ, Sybase to reverse engineer current system). A strong candidate with most of the list is acceptable.
- General:
OO Design, Automated testing, Complex systems.
- Desirable :
Order/Quote managment, Derivatives (Not manditory)
- Other:
Working with external clients (desirable),
Pro-active team worker.
Ability to do technical design.
- Non-Technical skills :
Experience and ability to understand the legacy code and solve problems
Ability to communicate with end users
Fluent English
