Alright, my faithful (1 or 2) followers. I apologize for being gone for so long. I have been busy! I can't believe how busy in fact. At work we are producing so much media. It is awesome knowing that we are trying to get the message of the LDS Church out to the world. I hope you are enjoying what you are seeing.
Breanna and I are doing really well. We are both finishing up the last weeks of our semester. We are VERY ready for it to be over! I only have one more semester of school and I will have a Bachelor's Degree. That is amazing! I am so excited for that.
In the next few weeks, we are putting on the Christmas Concert at work and I am going to be one of the Stage Mangers. I am very excited about that. It will be nice to get out from behind my computer and boss people around! They are more challenging than computer files.

Wedding
It has been a long time, but lets be honest. It was completely due to the stress of planning the wedding. Who ever said that planning a wedding is fun?! It most definitely isn't! I really am grateful that our wedding went well though. I love Breanna so much and I am so grateful that she is mine now forever!
Here are some pics of the wedding. :)

Kevin Drumming
So I have been wanting to record my little brother out in the a field playing the drums. Last night, I took him out and we recorded it. Unfortunately, we made it out way to late and the video doesn't look that good. We are going to go out and do it again and I will post it when we do. But I did get to take a few pictures of him.

Thursday.... Almost Friday...
Today is the last day of my COMM 350R - Leadership class. I found it kind of ironic that there was a presentation today about blogging. That reminded me that I have a blog. I decided that it was time to post a new blog.
Breanna and I took out my camera this weekend and took some pictures that we are going to try and use as our engagement pictures. It was so much fun. I set the camera up on my tripod and then I set the camera with a self timer. I then would run and try and make a pose. Breanna typically laughed the entire time so we took A LOT of pictures.
Let me know what you think about this one. I really like it.

New Camera!
In an effort to preserve memories and also to get a new hobby, I purchased the Canon EOS Rebel T2i. This camera has been awesome so far! It shoots 18 MP still and has 1920x1080 video support. It is everything that I wanted in a entry level DSLR. All of the reviews said that the video is identical to the 7D which runs about $700 more. So far I am completely satisfied with this camera and am excited to start taking some more pictures. Here are a few that I took the day I got it.
This is a picture of Breanna at the park. She had wanted to go to the park for awhile and I never did until I got the camera because I wanted to take her picture!
This is just us screwing around!

Memorial Day 2011
Memorial Day 2011 promised to be a good one for one simple reason, I was getting paid to have the day off! It was fantastic. I love that I get those benefits with my job.
Breanna and I spent the day driving around trying to find fabric for the wedding. I am glad that we had a 50% off coupon because that stuff adds up quickly! I also am really glad that Breanna has a crafty sister who can make things with that fabric. I definitely don't have that talent. We have 80 days until we get married and that means that I have to buckle-down and get my rear in gear. I have so many things that I need to do still. I did put together most of my list for the wedding invitations today and I was pretty proud of myself for that.
So in case you were wondering what I really did that was patriotic to celebrate the holiday, I want it to be known that I tweeted about it told all 8 people that were following me that I was grateful for the troops AND I was a Marine in Halo and killed some aliens. If that isn't patriotic, I don't know what is?!

My Proposal
I am engaged! Her name is Breanna Kay Muir and I love her with all of my heart. She is a sweetie. She and I will be getting married in the Salt Lake Temple on August 18th. For those who want to know how I proposed, I guess I will have to tell you.
I had been trying to throw Breanna off for weeks and told her that I wasn't able to go and get the ring resized yet. But really I had it getting resized and was just waiting for the right time. I went through several different ideas and couldn't really decide. One time when Breanna and I first started dating, I took her and we went dancing up above Lehi. So that was what I decided I would to do propose. Recreate that night.
I took her to Lehi and went up on the mountain and I had the song "I Won't Let Go" by Rascal Flatts playing in my car and we danced in the freezing cold. I then pulled out a small white box and told her that I was sorry it was taking so long for me to get my mom's ring resized and I hoped that this would make up for it. I pulled out a small diamond necklace. She loved it, but was a little taken back because it wasn't a ring. As I pulled the necklace out to put it on her I had taped the ring inside of it. I said, "It looks like there is something else in there!" I then got down on one knee and asked her to marry me. She cried. I cried. She said yes. I said, "Phew!"
So that is the story of my proposal.

Let's Try This Again...
So I originally tried doing a blog on my personal website that I was going to design through iWeb and post. It all kinda went to crap though. So I lost motivation. I am have found a small glimpse of motivation and am going to start doing this whole blog thing again...
I have found myself getting so caught up in my busy schedule that I have neglected the Lord in my life. This is very saddening to me because He does so much for me and I don't return the favor. I am certain that we all get like this at times. It is my goal this week to prepare myself spiritually for the General Conference broadcasts that will be happening on Saturday and Sunday. I hope and pray that the Lord will continue to work with me through all of my trials and the neglect that He often gets from me.

For Real? Three Days In A Row?
I already filled my hours at work and had the great idea that I would sleep in today and just relax. At 7:00 a.m. I woke up and wasn’t going back to sleep. Bummer.
After going into work for a few hours, my roommate and I went to the auto store and bought some new hydrolic arms lifts for my Jeep’s hood. As many of you may know, I am not a mechanic in any way, shape or form. I am scared I am going to screw something up. I am trying to overcome that fear.
So I had my roommate, Jack, help me install them. Surprisingly they were very easy to install. It took us about 5 minutes is all. Then we checked all of the various tanks and made sure that everything looks like it was in working order.
My next big adventure is to change the oil. I have 1,200 miles until I need to do it. I am already scared. But we have to start somewhere right?

Day 2...
Holy smokes, this is day 2 of my blog. Am I a weirdo or what? I still don’t want to be labeled as a blogger. If I ever get to that point, let me know. Deal? So today, anything that could have gone wrong at work, went wrong. Murphy’s Law was very applicable today.
I recently set a goal for my job that said, “When I find myself getting frustrated, I will seek help from the Lord and ask Him to help calm my frustrations.” Today was the first time that I put that to the test. I said a prayer and then put on the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Doing this really helped my attitude and I am glad that I did because it helped me to be focused and get more things done rather than being frustrated an inefficient.
Oh! Another happy note, I hung up pictures in my office. These look great with my lamp. I swear, everyday I turn more and more into a real person.

Ramblings of a 22-year old with too much time...
Traditionally, I have found blogs to be ramblings of people who have way to much free time. This is the main reason why I have never done one. Do I suddenly have tons of free time that I can do a blog? I certainly would think not. I work full time and go to school full time. The little free time that I have is spent with my beautiful girlfriend, Breanna or playing Halo: Reach. (I need to unwind in someway!)
So why did I suddenly decided to redo my entire webpage and start a blog? It started off when my roommate approached me about helping him start his webpage and design for his business. We have only just started, but I am proud of the progress that he has made. I would encourage everyone to check it out: modernbuildingllc.com. His name is Kyle Kohler and he is a general contractor. He does great work and I can full heartedly say that is he a honest man and will take care of you. (Sorry for that brief advertisement, I just had to do it!)
The other reason that I wanted a blog was to force myself to stay informed with the things that are going on in the world. I want to start having an opinion on issues that I think are important and relevant to me. So from time to time, I am anticipating me creating a post about politics or other issues that “grown ups” talk about.
This concludes my first rambling of a person who has too much time, or a blog!
