Interested in sharing your thoughts on keeping the U.S. Department of Education open then sign and share to let your voices be heard!
The petition expresses concern about moving the Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services (OSERS) out of the U.S. Department of Education.
Parent to Parent of Miami, along with many families, educators, and disability organizations across the country, all have significant concerns about what this type of change could mean for students with disabilities, their families and the protections provided under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Details remain unclear, and no formal changes have been announced.
Special education, and providing the support and information parents need to make informed decisions for their children`s education and wellbeing is our top priority at Parent to Parent of Miami.
