Who We Are

     We're the Sol System (they/them), an adult plural system of five animals who love to create. (This whole "having opposable thumbs" thing has given us just too much power.) Our games often focus on animality or alterhumanity, and they tend to be aimed more for solo play than group play. Our writings--mainly zines, a healthy mixture of fiction and non-fiction--almost always center our own nonhumanity in some way, or alterhumanity more generally.

     Our work is always our own, and is never made with generative A/I. We don't allow machine-generated submissions in any of the anthologies we manage, either.

Our Latest Project

     We just released Page's first personal zine Psychopompous, a 12-page self-portrait on life, death, dogs, and bookbinding. Inspired by an idea for a calligraphy self-portrait around the portmanteau of "Psychopomp" and "Pompous" that Page had wanted to do for the ongoing Alterhuman Minizine Jam on Tumblr, this was initially going to be a print-only publication--but we decided to offer a digital version and an imposed spread for printing here as well. Consider checking it out!

     We also released "RUN, DOG, RUN", a single-page minizine following a piece of flash fiction about a wolf therianthrope, for the aforementioned Alterhuman Minizine Jam. It's free to download, and, much like Psychopompous, it looks best printed. Consider adding it to your shelf or zine collection!
