Hi again, everyone! Thought I'd pop a question about the Console Module. The Console Module is some package that does stuff with the console window you see when you double-click a normal Python program, such as coloring the text from the plain white text, black background thing, but it seems so that it can do more, which is what I'm still learning... I just came across a problem with it, for those of you that know how to manage with the module and console stuff and blah: I'm unable to work an input variable. The text cursor thing stays there and blinks, and I can't type into the module. Now that I can't type, the program stays static, and does nothing more than sit there, or even cancel itself out at times. Any of you know how to break this problem? For some reason, that above link also mentions stuff like mouse cursor positions and widgets and stuff, so I'm thinking Console is another way of making a GUI from text, just like the old QBASIC interface. If you know anything more about that, help on that would be nice too, since that link hasn't been updated for 5 years already. :\ Thanks all! ~SciuCaro |
