In other news, I just submitted an article to SELECT magazine evangelizing Python to Oracle geeks. Go me! I hope they take it.
planet_python feed, you've already seen this once.Reminder: PyCon deadline is Dec. 31Let me add my plug for PyCon - I loved it, even as a Python newbie. It's also extremely affordable, as geek conferences go.
At this time 14 proposals have been submitted for PyCon. I'm not going to panic just yet, though -- most submissions come in at the last minute.
However, if you participate in Python communities where people may not have heard about PyCon and the upcoming proposal deadline, please consider posting a short note to the relevant mailing list.
