Inspired by Animusic

I was watching various Animusic videos the other day (see the links at the bottom of that page), and felt inspired to try some procedural animation of my own. Looked up Python MIDI software (there are a couple of packages which might work well), then looked up Blender.

Oops, I don't have a 3D video card in my computer. Can't run Blender.

But I figured I'd see if there are folks interested in procedural animation here, who might want to talk about doing it in Python.
