O believers! Fasting is prescribed for you—as it was for those before you—so perhaps you will become mindful ˹of Allah˺. (183)

A Fear Deeper Than Fire
“He will say: Remain there and do not speak to Me.” — Qur'an 23:108 This ayah feels heavier than the mention of fire itself. Because fire is pain of the body… but being told “do not speak to Me” is pain of the soul. For a heart that loves Allah, the most terrifying thought is not punishment — it is distance. It is the closing of conversation. It is calling out and not being allowed to speak. When I read this ayah, I feel a deep trembling. Not only fear of Hell… but fear of losing nearness to Allah. May Allah protect all of us ameen May Allah make us among who loved by Allah. Ameen 🌹 🌺
Allah will respond, “Be despised in there! Do not ˹ever˺ plead with Me ˹again˺! (108)
Beautiful reminder 🌹🤲
These two verses in Surah Kahf reminded me of the value and the importance of keeping good company.
In verse 18, Allah describes the miracle of the boys' deep sleep. And because the dog was with them, it too experienced the miracle.
In verse 28, Allah instructs the prophet (saw) to keep himself patient by being with those who remember Allah much.
These two verses inspire me to keep better company so that 1) I might share in the blessings that Allah sends down upon them; and 2) that they might help me remain patient in a very distracting world, InshaAllah.
And patiently stick with those who call upon their Lord morning and evening, seeking His pleasure. Do not let your eyes look beyond them, desiring the luxuries of this worldly life. And do not obey those whose hearts We have made heedless of Our remembrance, who follow ˹only˺ their desires and whose state is ˹total˺ loss. (28)
The ayaat of the Qur’an are deeply interconnected. Whenever Allah shifts from one subject to another or begins a new topic, it's never random. There is always a profound wisdom behind the transition. If we take a closer look, we will find that every shift carries meaning and serves a higher purpose. Every story mentioned is not narrated merely as historical recounting. Each account has a greater objective and is there to help us understand something crucial. That lesson may relate to what is discussed within the same surah or to what appears before or after it. These narratives are placed precisely where they are so that we may derive guidance and reflect upon their lessons.

Musa (AS) left Egypt and travelled through the desert towards Madyan. The heat must have been unbearable. Alone, with no shelter, no job, and apparently nothing seeming to work in his favour. Yet Allah says that He purified Musa. Musa was chosen. How did Allah purify him? Simple: He strengthened him through trials, made him homeless at one point, and took him through extremely difficult situations. As a result, Musa's real potential was brought to perfection _ to the point that Allah willed to speak to him directly. That purification process and its ultimate result are the greatest blessings. Despite being very good, you are going through a lot in ur life . Trials knock on your door one afte
...When the people of Ibrahim A.S saw the condition of their idols, they asked each other to burn him to avenge for and help the idols. Those idols became their liability that they had to help them, underscoring the fact that they cause no benefit or harm on their own. Whereas a believer in His worship asks Allah to help, in our lives and livelihood, for our dreams and aspirations, for our health and hope, in this world and the next.
Allah Ta'ala commanded us to make Him our wakeel , disposer of affairs. Those who said Hasbun Allah were returned with favours,

...Worshiping Allah includes having certainty in the Quran that He revealed to His servant صلى الله عليه وسلم. This ayah contains the first mention in the Quran of what is known as the miraculous nature (i’jaz) of the Quran, which is an ongoing challenge from the time of the Prophet's mission to produce something like it, whether it be the entire Quran, ten surahs, or even just one surah as this ayah states. The term "surah" is a Quranic concept and should not be equated with “chapters” or “sections” as in human writings; rather, it is a collection of ayahs—another Quranic concept that are not “ayahs”—enclosed by meanings, hence named "surah." The expression here is "from its like" and not "lik
...Jasser AudaShaikh, you have mentioned "The term "nazzalna" indicates the revelation of the entirety of the Quran at once, in contrast to "anzalna" used in other contexts to refer to the gradual revelation of the Quran over the period of the mission." - Isn't it the opposite? From Tafsir Ibn Kathir - 97:1 Kindly clarify, in sha Allah! Jazakallahu Khair! Hammad Fahim
The linguistic miracle of the words of Allah is that a small sentence delivers so many meanings but it carries few words. The grammar structure and universality it carries are among the signs that prove that it's from Allah alone. The linguistic Beauty Of Bismillah is that it carries a universal meaning that fits in every situation and a grammatical structure that was rarely used in Arabic. The word "Bi" in Bismillah is a grammatical preposition, and before prepositions the actions are described but here Allah doesn't mention any action but grasps the mind of reader that what he is doing is an action. Which makes Bismillah suitable in every single situation. For example: aqra'u / abda'u / a
...As Ramadan was ending last year, my mood was sombre. I remember watching a video of an Imam delivering a Khutbah about Ramadan departing and my tears just kept rolling down. It was my fear of going back to my pre-Ramadan self that wanted to hold on to it for as long as it could. Ramadan is this magical time which gives us superpowers - when impossible becomes possible, the energy in our bodies defy laws of thermodynamics, time seems to expand and our Imaan battery gets its annual recharge. It's the barakah of this month!
We all have an inherent desire to improve ourselves. New Year resolutions give us hope year after year, yielding no results. The thing about passion is that it doesn't rem

Allah SWT clarified that what is real profit or success. It means not the wealth we have in our bank. Allah SWT says! Who dedicate everything in the way of Allah (Fi-sabi-lillah) yes, people can ask how dedicate everything in the way of Allah SWT. Dedicating does not mean you don't enjoy the blessings of Allah SWT no you enjoy, you are the user. You are given by Creator. In this modern world, we don't own money, money owns us, we don't own power, power owns us, we don't own status, status owns us. We became slave to worldly things and forgot "We all belong to Allah SWT and to Him we return". Yes, you enjoy but temporary. Let me say in clear statement: "You attach with this world temporary
