You know, I'd just like to pause mt Algebra homework right now and say this.

Asking me to be in a few math classes to graduate with a degree seems a bit unnecessary. I can't remember the last time I've had to do math in any form since graduating high school. If I did need to do a calculation, I used a calculator or asked someone who's into math. The same probably goes with a math geek who needs to answer something about the English language or cooking, dancing, or kite-flying. All I'm saying is that there are people who are into certain kinds of things, like people who eat certain foods or avoid certain activities. Let's just say that I avoid math. Why can't that be okay? It's not really something you need in life -- adding and multiplying is fine and all, but anything above that can be done for you.

Engineers probably don't need to study ballroom dancing to get a degree. Why do I need to study math? I am never going to use this stuff. I don't see the point.

Here is a first post!  I shall muck about with settings now and try to figure out what I'm doing.
