It’s been forever….

Yes, I know its been months and months! The big news is, we moved back to Utah! Sunshine! Family! I will never complain about the heat again, it was a rough 3 years living in constant rain! And while I miss my Tina, I do get to see her this weekend for a whole week when she comes to visit!
I also got to meet my lovely friend Jen for the first time in real life, see Sarah D. and Maddie is coming too in a few weeks! So happy to be home!
Kids are all doing great, Jay is back to work, as am I. I’ll post again when I have more than 2 minutes!

We’re Gonna Party Like It’s Your Birthday…

MaryJane’s birthday was last Saturday! 9 years old! We had a pony/rainbow party for her on the 18th (Her Grandma Forsyth’s birthday-Happy Birthday Mom!) We had lots of little girls running around having a blast, games, rainbow fruit kabobs, and fun for everyone! Mary is just the sweetest, happiest kid…which is why it’s such a bummer that as soon as the party was over she lay down on the couch and was sick for the next 2 days. 103.2* fever and vomiting. Poor kid! She is feeling better now, thank goodness, and enjoying her new Pokemon Dsi game from her bff Carlee. Happy birthday MaryJane! Love love love you forever and a day!

On another note…Jack and I are heading to Anchorage tomorrow, and will be doing another surgery on his eyes on Thursday. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers that all will go well. My anxiety/stress level can’t take a third surgery! Here’s to healthy kids!

Another month has gone by in a blink…here’s what we’ve been up to…

Fostering 6 puppies for 2 weeks…

And we kept Miss Blondie to stay with us forever!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I missed my family, but kept busy baking 40+ pies!

Jay and I also went to a Western Party- Yee haw!

And Cassi went to Winter Ball…

Christmas is here, the tree is up, and we’ve been loving the Christmas spirit in our home. 2 more weeks until Christmas! Happy Holidays All!

Ginny is 2!

Yesterday my sweet Ginny girl turned 2! I seriously cannot believe how fast time goes by and that she’s not a baby anymore! She is a big 2 year old now, with a 2 year old attitude. For example, her favorite words are “Hey!” and ” Mine!” “Move” and “Stop it” are other favorites. I swear, the closer it got to her birthday, this naughty little person started emerging. Good thing she’s so stinkin’ cute…have some pictures….

True Friends

Last Thursday both Maggie and Sookie were hit and killed by a passing truck. It has been a horrendous week. But I don’t want to write about how I couldn’t sleep for the awful image in my head, or how sad and empty it feels without them. Instead, I am going to give you a montage of doggie pictures, for they were true friends, loyal, devoted and the best of dogs.

My sister informs me that it has been WAY too long since I’ve blogged. With 5 kids, a husband and 2 dogs, I just feel kinda busy, you know? But here’s what we’ve been up to these last 6 weeks….

I got to take a super quick 3 day weekend trip home to Utah for my birthday! I got to see my family…

And my amazing friends…

It was a super fast trip, but I loved seeing everyone and being WARM for a few days! Next summer, the whole family will go spend summer in St. George, so we’ll have lots more time to visit everyone!

The day after I got back, it was the first day of school! Cassi is a freshman! Jaren is in 6th grade! MaryJane in 3rd! And Jack started Kindergarten!

And then in mid-September, Jaren turned 12!

It’s kinda big deal…in our church he received the Priesthood, the first Ragland male to do so. And he passed the Sacrament for the first time, and gets to go to mutual..so cool!

And then it was October, my favorite month! I love the smell of Fall, the colors, the Halloween decorations! Ginny girl turns 2 in a week and 1/2, and then it’s Halloween! I promise to post again all the pumpkin carving, costumed, birthday fun! Plus, this post is severely lacking in pictures of Cassi,and the cutest,naughtiest baby girl ever, Ginny. I’ll see you soon!

PS…joke from Mary…. Whats the difference between pork chops and pea soup? Anyone can chop pork, but no one can pee soup. Bada bum!

Today my Jack turned 5!!!

How fast time goes…he will be starting kindergarten next week, that’s crazy! Today we opened presents (remote control flying shark!) and went swimming (where I hurt my tailbone so bad I thought it could be broken) and had cake and just had a great day!Jay is still in Hyder, so he’s pretty bummed that he missed Jacks big day. But Jack got to talk to Daddy on the phone, and hopefully Jay will be back next week!
