So I'm watching a few back eps of Dresden Files on my AppleTV, and trying out hulu (watching arrested development, SNL) on the web. I apparently clicked on the last aired ep of "The Moment of Truth."

Within 1 minute I got sucked into it, watching the entire ep, yet feel terrible that my watching this has tagged a "Yes one more hit do more of these shows" vote.

I suspect they track what people watch, but to see a train wreck happen within a family right before my eyes, the crowd booing members for trying to stop the wreck, and cheering the contestant on, i felt like watching a mob at an execution.

Perhaps I'm taking this to extremes, but that is how I'm feeling right now.

Obviously the marketing works as I was duped and refused to gnaw my leg off to escape the trap.
