I am thankful for my husband

My favorite words that come out of Jesse's mouth are " Relax, put your feet up" He is truly a great man and I am so blessed to have him for all eternity. Thank you Jesse for all that you do and for being such a great husband, father and provider for our family.

Buffalo Park

Buffalo Park is a big forest patch in Mannheim, Germany where they have a fun playground and a few animals like deer, warthogs, goats,buffao and other fun animals that come up and let you feed them. My friend Nikki and I took Adrian today and he just had a ton of fun. He loved feeding the animals and LOVED going down the slide.

Loads of Fun

I am happy to announce that we have finally purchased a dryer. We will have it in our home by the end of next week. Most people here in Germany dont own a dryer and air dry all thier clothes on racks, like I have been doing for the past three months. Most homes dont have dryer hook ups and most dryers are set up for a steam release, no vents required. Finally, we purchased our dryer and I am so excited for it. No more having to worry about clothes, hoping it dries in time or having to pause on doing laundry cause there is no more room to hang the clothes. I have learned from this experience that is much better to do laundry everyday than have 2 laundry days a week. You have much less clutter and the chore goes by so much faster. I am pretty sure that is the routine I will keep even after we have our dryer in our home.

Doctor Doctor!!!

Jesse has been working crazy 12- 14 hours six days a week shifts with his new positon at work. The over time is nice but we sure miss him at home and on Sat. for our family trips and days out.

He called in sick a few days ago and we spent the whole day out and just enjoyed time together. We went to this huge park in Mannheim, Germany and had a great time. Adrian especially loved the ducks. He had so much fun chasing them and quacking like a ducK.

Adrian really enjoyed the fountain. You can dip your feet in the fountain and cool off but Adrian wanted the full treatment so he took a dive in and was soaked from head to toe. He dosent seem to excited in the pictures but he sure was having a blast.

Tantrum Fever

Latley Adrian has really know how to throw a fit. He gives me the works.. screams, yells, hits, bites,stomps you name it he does it. I have tried about everything, time outs, ignoring, distracting, tap on the mouth when he bites, holding, loving, even taking pictures in the middle of one, nothing seems to work. Anyone have any good ideas on how to deal with an 18month old's tantrums?

Happy Birthday My little Brother

Jared turns 8 today!! Happy Birthday! We miss you so much. You are a great uncle and little brother. Hope all your birthday wishes come true and dont forget that we love you!!

It's Potty Time

We have been preparing Adrian for the new baby coming in three months, as best as you can prepare an 18 month old baby. I really have been working with him using the potty it really has been pretty easy. I start to see him push and I quickly take him to the potty and sit him down and we have a big celebration when the deed is done, lots of clapping and hugs. He also likes to help with the wiping, he wipes his front as you can see in the pic and then claps, it is too cute. Well we have been doing this potty routine for about a month now and today he actually came up to me and said poopy while holding his behind. I thought ehh what the heck I'll sit him on the toliet and he went and clapped and pointed to the toliet paper that he was ready to be cleaned. Yay for Adrian!!!! Maybe I will only have to change diapers for one baby in three months.

Latley Adrian has really enjoyed his baths. He spends about 45 minutes to an hour in the tub before he is ready to get out. I like this too cause it gives me time to clean the bathroom and fold the laundry while I watch him play.
