Keep posts relevant to breakcore

While Breakcore is loosely defined, it has some distinct characteristics that determine the genre.

Heavily edited breaks, lots of distortion, generous sampling and High-BPM are elements that accompany the sound.

Off-topic submissions or submissions that belong better on another sub will be removed.

Artwork with no music posted will be removed, there are far better places to get artwork feedback/criticism on Reddit.

Newer subgenres of breakcore are welcome. However, making use of appropriate subgenres is encouraged.

Drum & Bass belongs on r/dnb, Jungle belongs in r/jungle.

To avoid driving off interested users or if you would like feedback on your music, please make use of the appropriate flair.

Self-promotion/Spam

Self-promotion is encouraged.

If the moderators feel your self promotion is spammy, it may be removed. If sharing your own work, do not ask for likes/views/subscriptions/etc. If the first click on your profile shows you're simply spamming your links everywhere, it will be removed.

Low effort submissions, promoting unrelated events or posting your socials for no other reason than visibility will be removed.

All works in progress under 1:30 will be automatically deleted.

No piracy

Do not post illegal filesharing content.

On-topic discussion, relevant questions and content sharing is encouraged.

Threads asking if their submission is Breakcore is prohibited. the Community receives an abundant amount of submissions asking if the content they are posting is Breakcore. This Community is for posting Breakcore content, not to validate or verify if what you are posting is breakcore. if you need to confirm if your content is Breakcore, ask yourself "is this music for riots? is this Aggressive and Complex enough? if the answer is no, them make it so that it is Yes.
