“Apply over” and “fade over” settings “Apply over” and “fade over” settings
Need Support

I just bought the LIFX ceiling light, and I’m trying to figure out how scenes, routines, and schedules all fit together, whether my Apple Home setup can still apply adaptive lighting, and what some of LIFX’s settings mean, since they’re not explained anywhere.

In scenes, there is a setting that’s called “Apply over”. I assume this sets a soft transition to the scene over a user-specified time?

How is this different from the “Fade over” setting in schedules?

Why are FX and Scenes available in Schedules, but not in Routines?

Thanks for any clarification.

Bulb gone missing from iOS app Bulb gone missing from iOS app
Need Support

Since at least yesterday, my LIFX Mini bulb has vanished from the app on my iPhone, I have reset it with the 5 on/offs twice now today, in case it just needed re-adding, but it still doesn't appear in the app, in addition all my schedule entries have gone also.

I'm not sure if it's related, but when I came to re-add it back into the app, and it prompted to be added to HomeKit, it never showed as an accessory waiting to be added, and entering its HomeKit pairing code does nothing, so I had to wait the 10 minutes before it'd add via WiFi.

Additional - the Flic button I use to control it outside of the app still does what it's supposed to, and Home Assistant can still see and activate it.
