What is Plasma?
Plasma is the fourth state of matter — hotter than gas, powerful enough to break apart molecules and build new ones. It’s a proven industrial technology, used for decades in fields like waste treatment and metallurgy. We studied what worked, re-engineered what didn’t, and built a system designed specifically for refining and manufacturing high-performance materials at scale.

Our high-temperature plasma rotary furnace is the core of Refacture’s process. It delivers continuous, controlled thermochemical reactions at over 1,700°C — turning engineered inputs into high-performance materials with unmatched precision. Refacture’s plasma systems offer a breakthrough pathway for recovering rare earth elements (REEs) from complex byproducts. Ultra-high-temperature environments enable selective volatilization and separation of valuable elements like neodymium, dysprosium, and terbium. 

We work with challenging byproducts to manufacture high-quality, high-purity critical materials like β-SiC, aluminum fluoride, and synthetic graphite. These materials serve advanced sectors including electrification, defense, and semiconductors — where reliability and performance are non-negotiable.

We begin by vitrifying feedstocks through proprietary pre-treatment, including plasma-based processes, to enable exceptionally high-purity output. Residuals are reused internally until they’re locked into product form within our broader material portfolio.
