APPEARANCE; let's take it easy!
PERSONALITY;

Miki's appearance somewhat belies her true nature. Effortlessly attractive, most people would assume she's spunky, energetic, cheerful, and friendly. In actuality, Miki is an extremely easy going and laid back person, one who takes almost everything in stride and never takes things as serious as they should be. Passive in almost everything she does, she comes across as aloof and uncaring in most aspects of her life. In fact, about 75 percent of the time, she's sleeping. She loves to sleep, and it most definitely shows.

Despite her lazy nature, she manages to get by in school rather well and keep in shape. She loves to eat but never seems to gain any weight. She's also very attractive, and apparently gets multiple love confessions every day. She is tall and has large breasts for her age, making her look older. Due to this, Miki feels like she doesn't really need to try. She is very self entitled and feels that things will just come to her. She never gives her all unless she really needs to and can be very selfish. She is also not against using people to get what she wants, though she never has any malicious intent. She's plenty manipulative and able to get what she wants, like in the beach episode, where she manages to con some guys out of food.

Miki has what it takes to be an amazing idol. She's a brilliant person, and also naturally good at singing and dancing, but she never puts forth the effort required to be an amazing one. In Episode 6, she even memorized an entire dance routine in a matter of minutes when she had to fill in for another idol. She was born lucky, and has a lot of abilities and talents, but due to her easy life, she feels that she can just glide through her way to becoming an idol. She thinks it will be easy, and it won't require any strenuous work.

Miki is a friendly person, though. Sociable and well versed in conversation, she's someone who's easy to talk to and become friends with. She's also rather shameless, often commenting off handedly how large her breasts are and how proud of them she is. She really doesn't care about anything too much, so when she gets passionate about something, it's a pretty big deal. She is blunt and doesn't even try to sugar coat her words; she tells you exactly what's on her mind. She even fails to remember things mentioned mere minutes before, because she doesn't care enough to remember. The one time this doesn't apply, however, is when her sister is involved. Miki will do anything to be better than her sister, and is one of her driving forces for becoming an idol.

When Miki is able to get motivated, she is dilligent and great in what she does. The only problem is, it can be difficult to motivate her. In episode 6, Ryuuguu Komachi was formed, an elite unit composed of three idols from Miki's idol company, and Miki began to feel slightly jealous. She thought, 'Why wasn't it me that was picked? Am I not good enough?' and instead of just sulking about it or getting depressed, she personally asked the producer to take on a job, along with memorizing the dance routine the first time. When she gets motivated, Miki is truly a force to be reckoned with.

Miki is a good natured person. She's just a bit misguided. Her main problem is how spoiled she is; her parents are a public official and a government worker, and promised her that she'd never have to work for anything in life. She became self centered because of this, and very out of touch with reality. She basically thinks she's invincible; that her actions will never have any consequence, that she'll always come out on top and be praised, and she pretty much expects these things. What Miki needs most is a healthy dose of reality.

Miki has a great deal of affection for her Producer. She feels he's someone she can trust and confide in, being a man who doesn't like her because of her looks or because she's an idol. After episode 12, when the Producer convinces her to not quit idoling, she begins to call him 'honey', claiming that it's because he's sweet and special. The Producer holds a unique place in her heart, and she's determined to make him feel the same way about her, too. You might even say she's slightly obsessed with him, but there's nothing wrong with a little obsession!

Throughout the course of the show, she becomes a bit of a foil to Haruka, a fellow idol. Whereas Haruka wants nothing more than for all of her friends to stick together, Miki wants to suceed in all that she does, no matter the costs. In Episode 23, when the two are both auditioning for the lead role in a major musical, she treats Haruka as a rival, and clearly states that she's going to do her best to win the role. Miki knows what she wants, and that's to be top idol, and she will do whatever it takes to get there. This may be seen as selfish to some, but Miki has a goal that she wants to reach, and is willing to take risks and do what it takes to get there.

However, Miki does love her friends, and proves her dedication for them later on, especially in episode 24, when she calls Haruka out for her moping about. She tells her she's being selfish, that she earned the role in the play and she should do her best to put the play on. This shows just how dedicated Miki is to her job, that if she was in her position, she would still be pushing forth to the future. It's hard to get Miki discouraged, and if she does, she'll bounce right back. It also shows just how honest Miki is; she's not scared to say hurtful things if she feels like it will help things in the end. Miki loves her friends, loves being an idol, and loves her life, and after a lot of growth, she realizes what she truly wants is to have a balance between the three. By the end of the anime, Miki has grown considerably less lazy, self centered, and selfish.. even though the Producer is hers, no matter what. Don't try to take him from her, Haruka!

It was a scorching summer day in Luceti, and Miki had had enough of it! It was too hot to get any good sleep, so she was forced to the streets, seeking any kind of solace she could. Her mouth gaped as she yawned and wiped the sweat from her brow that was beading up. "Ugh! Miki can't stand heat like this! My wings are getting all itchy now, too." She scratched at them agitatedly, resigning herself to a cursed day.

She'd found she'd wondered into the town square somehow - and her eyes caught site of an older woman near the bakery handing out popsicles to some kids. Her mouth would have watered if it wasn't so sere. Quickly bounding over, she gave her best smile to the lady. "Ah, Miki can have one, too, right?" The lady nodded, and held out her hand. Miki stared at it for a moment before realizing what it was she wanted. Money. Exactly what she had none of. Miki sighed and walked away without saying anything, moving to a bench nearby and sitting. "What's Miki gonna do now? It's way too hot! If only Honey was here.."

She moved her legs up to her face and closed her eyes, and, after what seemed like ages, woke up to a jolt. Someone had thrown a ball at her. Well, not at her, per say, but it definitely hit her in the side. Her eyes focused on the anomaly that had disturbed her sleep for a good minute before she heard a 'Hey!' from far away. Looking up, she noticed a boy a bit older than her running towards her. "Hey, that's my-- O-Oh, um, hi." Hm. Miki could work with this. She gave a flirty smile and held the ball up. "You hit Miki! Aren't you gonna say sorry?" She made a playful hurt face, holding the ball close to her chest. The boy flushed. "U-Um, yeah, uh.. Sorry! Is there anyway I could make it up to you?" He scratched the side of his face, flustered. Miki smiled. "Actually.. Miki can think of one way!"
