A More Modern and Polished Interface

The new home page has been visually refined to create a cleaner and more contemporary look. The updated design makes navigation smoother and more intuitive, helping attendees quickly understand where to go and what to explore. For organizers, this means your community space feels more professional and aligned with the standards of large-scale trade shows, congresses, and exhibitions.

Clearer Event Grouping

Events within the community are now grouped in a much more comprehensible way. Instead of navigating through scattered listings, attendees can easily browse and understand how events are organized.

Better Visibility for Suggested Events

Suggested events now appear more prominently on the home page. Attendees can instantly discover relevant events tailored to them, without needing to search.

Organizers can now create multiple feed views to better structure event communications and target different audiences.

When creating a feed channel, you can select the feed view where it will appear, or create a new view directly from the channel creation modal. This makes it easy to organize content without interrupting your workflow.

In Studio, a new “Displayed on” column in the Feed Channel list clearly shows which view each channel belongs to. This gives you instant visibility.

Feed channel names can also be translated into all event languages, ensuring a clear and localized experience for international attendees.

With multiple feed views, you gain better control, clearer communication, and a more organized event platform, while keeping management simple and efficient.

The Profile Completion feature helps you increase attendee engagement and data quality by providing users with a clear, visual nudge to finalize their professional details. A complete profile is the cornerstone of successful networking; after all, it’s hard to make a "perfect match" if the AI doesn't know who you are!

What’s New

Attendees will now see a dynamic progress bar on their "Me" tab if essential information is missing. This visual indicator calculates a completion percentage based on core fields: Job Title, Company, and any Custom Fields you’ve set as editable.

How it Works

• The Visual Nudge: If a profile is incomplete, the "Edit Profile" button transforms into a more actionable "Complete Profile" button, accompanied by a percentage bar.
• Guided Editing: Clicking "Complete Profile" takes the user directly to a focused view.
• The "Finish Line" Feeling: Once the profile reaches 100% completion, the progress bar disappears, the button reverts to "Edit Profile," and the user gets that sweet feeling of digital accomplishment.

We’re rolling out an improved and more consistent access management system across our applications. This update strengthens Studio security while simplifying OTP-based login on the Event App and Exhibitor Center (EC).

🔐 What’s changing?

1. Studio now requires a password (OTP removed)

To increase security for organizer and admin features, Studio will no longer support OTP login.
Users must now log in using a password-based authentication flow.

2. Event App & Exhibitor Center: OTP simplified to numeric-only

To streamline authentication for attendees and exhibitors, the OTP used to log into the Event App and EC is now numeric-only, making it quicker and easier to enter.

We’re pleased to introduce a new improvement to the Invisual and Swapcard integration: bookmarked exhibitors are now synchronized in both directions.

With this update, whenever an attendee bookmarks an exhibitor, whether from the embedded Invisual map or directly inside Swapcard, the action is instantly reflected in both systems. This creates a smoother, more consistent experience across the entire event platform.

Here’s how it works:

• Bookmark from Invisual → Visible in Swapcard
  If an attendee marks an exhibitor as a favorite while browsing the Invisual map, the exhibitor immediately appears as bookmarked in their Swapcard profile.
• Bookmark from Swapcard → Visible in Invisual
  The same applies in the other direction. Bookmarking an exhibitor in Swapcard automatically updates the Invisual map view, where the exhibitor now shows as saved.

For organizers, this means fewer discrepancies and a more unified attendee journey. Visitors save time, keep track of exhibitors more easily, and enjoy a seamlessly connected navigation experience throughout the event.

Managing tax collection for event registrations can be complex — but it doesn’t have to be. With Swapcard Studio, you can now seamlessly enable Stripe Tax to automate tax calculations during your event registration and payment process.

How It Works

• Stripe calculates taxes automatically at checkout, based on the attendee’s location and tax details.
• The correct tax amount appears dynamically on the order summary and invoice.

Setup in Three Steps

1. Check Stripe Tax Status

• When you connect Stripe, Swapcard checks if Stripe Tax is enabled. In case the set up is not complete in the Stripe dashboard, a message is displayed:

“Stripe Tax is not yet configured on your account. Please complete the setup in Stripe to enable automated tax calculation.”

Go to your Stripe dashboard → Tax Settings to set it up.

2. Choose Your Tax Mode
In Studio > Registration > Payment Settings, select:

Automatic Tax to allow Stripe to calculate taxes automatically at checkout based on the users billing information. 
Manual Tax can still be used, which is based on a single tax percentage.

3. Collect Required Info at Checkout
To calculate taxes automatically correctly, Stripe needs:

• Billing Address (country, postal code, state, etc.) — collected using Stripe Elements.
• Tax Type & Tax ID — optional, but helps apply exemptions.

Users can see an Estimated Tax amount when completing the registration form, based on the registrants IP address. If attendees change their billing information which is different from the logged in IP, taxes recalculate instantly.

Displaying the In-app registration form section helps you capture attendee data faster by placing your registration form right where the action starts: the Home Page. Instead of forcing potential participants to hunt for a "Register" button or navigate through menus, you can now bring the signup process directly to them.

Traditionally, visitors had to navigate away from the homepage to access the registration flow. This extra step can slow down decision‑making and reduce conversions.

By embedding registration directly on the homepage, you can now:

Get a clear view of your ticket revenue

We’re introducing Analytics for Money Collected, a new set of financial metrics designed to give organizers a precise and actionable overview of revenue generated from paid tickets.

🔎 Why this matters

Until now, understanding how much cash was actually collected and how much was still pending or overpaid often required manual exports or external reconciliation.

With these new analytics:

• You instantly see how much money your event has generated
• You gain better visibility for finance, accounting, and reporting

🎟️ Paid Tickets Purchased

Displays the total number of paid tickets purchased.

This metric reflects ticket volume only and excludes free registrations.

💵 Total Collected

Shows the actual cash collected from paid ticket sales.

Formula:
Total Collected = Total Charges – Total Refunds

This represents the net revenue received after refunds.

⏳ Total Balance Due

Displays the total monetary amount still due from registrations that are in a Balance Due status.

• This is a sum of unpaid amounts, not a count of registrations
• Optionally shows the number of registrations associated with this amount

Use this metric to quickly identify outstanding payments and follow up if needed.
