FlytBase Integrates with AlarisPro: Flight logging and Management
FlytBase now integrates directly with AlarisPro, enabling seamless synchronization of flight logs between FlytBase’s drone operations platform and AlarisPro’s fleet and compliance management system. Flight data captured automatically during missions in FlytBase, including pilot, aircraft, timestamps, duration, and location, can be exported to AlarisPro without manual re-entry. This integration ensures accurate record-keeping, simplifies compliance workflows, and connects flight execution with fleet management in a single, streamlined process.
Post-Flight Compliance Without the Paperwork
Most drone programs do not just fly and forget. Flights need to be logged in fleet management systems for compliance, pilot certification tracking, and operational record keeping. When your fleet management platform and your flight operations platform are separate systems, someone has to move data between them manually after every single flight.
That means pilots re-entering information that already exists, including drone ID, pilot name, flight time, GPS coordinates, and mission details. The same data gets typed into a different system ten or more times a day. It is not complex work. It is simply repetitive enough to slow everything down and error prone enough to create compliance gaps when details get mistyped or flights get skipped.
FlytBase now supports direct flight log export to AlarisPro. Flight data that FlytBase already captures, including pilot, drone, location, duration, and timestamps, flows directly into AlarisPro without manual re-entry. Pilots only add the fields that require human judgment, such as mission type, issues encountered, project assignment, FRAT assessment, and optional remarks.
How To Set It Up
One-Time Setup
Before syncing flight logs, you configure the integration once. The AlarisPro Flink has three configuration tabs.
Account Authentication
Link your AlarisPro account using your existing AlarisPro credentials. The username and password are the same ones you use to log into AlarisPro directly.

Pilot Mapping
Map each FlytBase pilot to their corresponding AlarisPro pilot profile. FlytBase pulls the full list of pilots registered in your AlarisPro account, so you're selecting from a dropdown — not re-entering names manually.
This mapping ensures that when flight logs sync, the correct AlarisPro pilot profile is associated with each flight, regardless of who initiates the sync from the FlytBase side. Once mapping is complete, click on Save.

UAS Mapping
Map each FlytBase drone to its corresponding AlarisPro UAS entry. Same approach as pilot mapping, FlytBase displays your fleet, and you select the matching AlarisPro UAS from a dropdown populated with your AlarisPro account's registered aircraft.

Once authentication, pilot mapping, and UAS mapping are saved, your integration is ready. This configuration persists , you only set it up once.
Syncing Flight Logs
After flights are completed, navigate to the Flight Logs page in FlytBase. An Alaris Pro sync column displays the sync status for each flight log. This column is visible only when the AlarisPro Flink is enabled for your account. It provides immediate visibility into which logs have been successfully synced, which have failed, and which are yet to be exported.

To sync flight logs to AlarisPro:
Select one or more flight logs using the checkboxes
Click the Share button in the toolbar
Choose Share to Flink
Select Alaris Pro as the Flink destination
For each selected log, fill in the required manual fields including Mission type, Issues encountered, Project, and FRAT assessment
Click Sync data to Alaris Pro

Once synced, successful entries appear as Synced in green in the Flight Logs page. If a sync fails, it appears as Failed in red. You can select the failed log, review the indicated failure reason, correct the required information, and retry the sync.
What Gets Auto-Populated
When you select flight logs for sync, FlytBase pre-fills the following fields:
Pilot name : the pilot who actually flew the mission, regardless of who initiates the export. In cases where multiple pilots flew the mission, the first pilot is populated.
Timestamp : flight date and time
Flight duration
Mission name
Drone model
Takeoff location : latitude and longitude coordinates
The remaining fields require pilot input because they reflect operational judgment that FlytBase can't capture automatically:
Mission type : dropdown selection
Issues encountered : dropdown selection
FRAT assessment : Flight Risk Assessment Tool, dropdown selection
Project : dropdown selection
