Line Editing
Copyediting
Copyediting is a crucial mid-stage edit that precedes final proofreading. It focuses on precision by correcting errors in spelling, grammar, and punctuation. It also looks for any inconsistencies within the manuscript.
Proofreading
Reserved for manuscripts that have been copyedited and (ideally) typeset. With fresh eyes, I will pick up on any lingering errors in spelling and punctuation and find any potential problems introduced during the typesetting process.
Additional Services
In addition to my editing services, I also offer manuscript reviews, book typesetting/formatting, and beta reading. Beta reading can usually be done for free by a team of readers the author puts together, but over the years, I’ve had so many requests for beta reading that I decided to include it as another service.
