INDUSTRIA 2015 project on the development of a body scanning system for the detection of potentially dangerous concealed objects.
OBJECTIVES
To develop a body scanning system to be used as checkpoints in strategic civil and/or military areas to detect potentially dangerous concealed objects, like unconventional weapons (ceramic or plastic), bacteriological and chemical substances.
MBDA is the prime contract, whereas RF Microtech is responsible for the design of the TX/RX modules of the system.
