Joshua collaborates closely with his team to extend into education and the elevation of the industry at large. Joshua’s career spans experiences with multinational corporations, start-ups, non-profits, educational institutions, and family-owned businesses. He has built an extensive portfolio and led rice work for over a decade. Recognized by D&AD, The Type Directors Club, Graphis, Red Dot, Pentawards, and Dieline, rices’ highly regarded work is a product of the team and culture Joshua has helped build and lead. As a proud member of AGI, he focuses on exposing emerging talent from Southeast Asia and beyond.

Chi-An is a true multicultural individual. With an Italian father and a French-Vietnamese mother, his diverse background has shaped his global mindset and ability to connect with various cultures. Fluent in four languages and having lived in five countries, Chi-An brings a wealth of international experience to his work. Chi-An's career began in advertising at Lowe Vietnam, where he played a pivotal role in establishing the branding division. This passion for creating meaningful brand experiences led him to found Rice in 2011.

As a founding partner and the creative force behind Rice, Chi-An has been crucial to the agency's success. His work has earned multiple international awards, including D&AD, Red Dot, TDC, Pentawards, and the Dieline. Recognized for his expertise and contributions to the industry, Chi-An has been invited to serve on the jury for international design awards such as D&AD, the Dieline, Macau Design Awards, and Red Dot Awards. In 2019, he became a member of the esteemed AGI alliance and now serves as the country president.

In that first encounter with Comic Sans, Hau Huynh found his muse, sparking a love of design that would shape his life. To him, creativity is a mirror to the soul, revealing the essence of who he truly is. He is also a part-time reel sharer.

As an accountant and a graduate of Hoa Sen University with a degree in Accounting and Auditing, My Tien applies her knowledge in accounting procedures and financial strategy in her work.

Rice Studios stands out for My Tien due to its emphasis on teamwork. She values diverse viewpoints and is proud to contribute to an inclusive setting like rice.

Born and raised in Quang Nam province, Tram graduated from the University of Finance and Accountancy and holds great experience working in taxes, banking, and auditing. Her responsibilities of General Accountant at Rice put her in charge of accounting data and preparing various reports.

Trúc is a humble graphic designer based in vibrant Ho Chi Minh City, originally from Long Xuyên City. Since her university days, she has been deeply drawn to culture — fascinated by heritage, stories, and the emotions they carry. Through design, she strives to honor those stories, weaving thoughtful narratives into every project.
Though a little shy and easily scared, Trúc never lets fear stop her from asking questions or learning something new. To her, knowledge is like a landscape of high mountains and deep ponds — always challenging, but endlessly worth exploring. She is also a proud dog mom, doing everything she can to keep her furry babies happy.

Ange Linh, a French videomaker, began her career as a Graphic Designer. However, her passion for film and video led her to specialized in Motion at Gobelins, Paris. She refined her editing skills at a French production agencies and her directing at Kourtrajmé school. In 2023, upon moving to Vietnam, it was only natural for her to join Rice, driven by the shared desire to produce meaningful video content.

After finishing his studies at the University of Applied Arts and Sciences in Hannover, Germany. In 2023, Duy moved to Ho Chi Minh City and joined rice, aiming to create impactful and meaningful projects that resonate with and celebrate Vietnamese people and their rich cultural heritage.

Thuy enjoys providing support behind the scenes—turning 'tasks' into smooth opportunities for growth. Thuy thrives in handling the human-centered matters at Rice. Graduating with a major in Human Resources, Thuy finds in rice, her passion, and continues to learn and discover more through her work each day, while she aims to bring more values in rice's working environment.

Personal growth and progress have always been the core value in everything Jessie does, a value instilled from childhood.
Since joining Rice in 2021 as Store Manager, she remains true to herself and her commitment to these values by expanding her skill set and contributions in her current role as Operation Manager. Along side with managing the store, Jessie now collaborates with all rice teams and contributes to the development and improvement of Rice's internal system and standard operating procedures (SOP).

Standing at the intersection of creativity and commerce, Khanh Nguyen uses her expertise in experiential marketing and branding to build powerful brand worlds across industries. She sees project management and strategy as inseparable in turning creative ambition into clear, purposeful execution. Having spent time in Los Angeles bringing global brand identities to life at tentpole events, Khanh is driven to craft transformative solutions that redefine what’s possible for every brand she partners with.

Minh-Anh is a Vietnamese-American designer. Born and raised in Seattle, Washington, she moved to New York City in 2017, eventually finding her place as a graphics editor for Bloomberg Businessweek. After nearly five years at the magazine, she moved to Ho Chi Minh City to join rice as a designer in 2024. Outside of work, she spends a lot of time thinking about street dance.

Originally an engineer in printing technology, Thuong brings specialized knowledge, raw creativity, curiosity and a liiiiiiiiittle OCD to production work in an exciting way. Rice's internal initiave, Mãi (Up-Cycled plastic furniture and objects brand), was an opportunty Thuong seized, deisigning from scratch, a wide-ranging ecologically-minded packaging system. It is this passion that Thuong brings to her work on a daily basis.

Before joining rice Tien worked as a designer & art director in Berlin for 7 years, contributing to the creation of visual identities and campaigns for internationally renowned cultural institutions and clients. Prior to pursuing a career in design he graduated in art history and worked as an artist liaison and communications manager for several prominent art galleries in Germany. His passion for contemporary art remains strong.

Joey is a multimedia creative from Ho Chi Minh City with a background in planning, producing, filming, and writing (kind of). After graduating in Multimedia, Joey wrapped up her time at Rice as a communication boss in training.

At Rice, Joey spent her days figuring out how to share the studio’s stories with the world—sometimes with a whisper, sometimes with a shout. She’s all about collaborating with creative minds and bringing the art, energy, and culture of Rice beyond the studio.

Born and raised in Europe, Y-Vân leverages her background as a unique asset in her professional journey. This has enabled her to seamlessly navigate and operate within diverse environments. Y-Vân is a firm believer in continuous personal and professional growth. Her pursuit of challenges outside her comfort zone reflects her willingness to learn, adapt, and evolve. Above all, she places great value on respect for her craft, her team, and the projects she handles.

Hong is a financial executive with over twenty years of experience in the Internet/E-Commerce, professional services, manufacturing and consumer products industries.

With a background spanning advertising, motion design, and arts & crafts, Hieu Vo draws from a diverse set of experiences to bring fresh perspectives to his work. He combines his interest in new technologies with a strong sense of storytelling, creating visuals that not only catch the eye but also carry deeper meaning. He enjoys uncovering the narratives behind images, crafting designs that feel both purposeful and memorable.

A lifelong learner and explorer, Sebastiaan’s career in communications has spanned different creative roles and leadership positions in multiple international agencies. Once at Rice, he found a place with a shared vision—to make a positive, lasting impact.

Through his journey, he realized that sustaining impactful output requires both creative freedom and operational rigor. Sebastiaan’s pursuit became integrating streamlined operational practices within the creative process, ensuring neither gets compromised.

As Production Director at Rice, Anna has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to excellence over her ten plus years. She has successfully spearheaded a diverse range of ambitious production projects, from complex manufactiring spaces, to extensive attire/uniform stastems to exquisitly printed packaging and print, —each delivering exceptional results each time.

Anna's role involves transforming concepts into tangible realities—a task she performs with meticulous attention to detail. She excels at managing large-scale orders, ensuring not only cost-effectiveness, but also a minimal error rate.

Anna's work has significantly boosted the availability of high-quality materials in Vietnam, with prominent paper companies now stocking superior supplies as standard. Her dedication and leadership continue to drive the production department forward, ensuring continual raising of the bar.

Aka Thuong Admin, Thuong is a Studio Assistant with an enthusiasm of providing support. She is also good at finding stuff - not always successful but if you’re in trouble looking for anything, just let her know and she will solve it.
