Journeyman Rick
Hello, its been awhile since i have posted, but big news. after five years of school and training i just passed all my state testing and am now a journeyman electrician. i have a little more schooling to finish but the big tests are out of the way. this is going to be a good year. On a sadder note, me and natalie couldnt hold it together anymore and split up. I am kind of shaken up by all the questions i have which i wont get into, but i hope it is for the best for each of us. She is an amazing girl. i stressed how important it is to me to keep that friendship but time will tell. An incredibly generous person, fun, and i wish her the best. thank you natalie for 7 months i will really miss that.

Denver Game
So this past weekend myself, steve, george, chil, and fosum went out and visited chris is denver. we checked out the denver aquarium saturday.
We hit up the Broncos game sunday against the bills. Steve is a big bills fan and they pulled out a victory so congrats steve. the game was pretty exciting but the the temperature was only twelve degrees in the third quarter and with the windchil they said it was -3. so it was cold. I definately think it was worth it but if i lived in denver i dont think i would make too many games in the winter. Personally i am a bears fan but i like the broncos so i backed that losing horse. So it was a lot of car time (wyoming sucks to drive through, and most other things to) good friends, good times, and good football.

exciting month
Howdy, so its been awhile. Lets see, since the last post... for one i turned 30. I was not particularly looking forward to it but a beautiful young lady made it worth turning 30.

she always asks me to play a game where you list 30 things you like about some one or 30 things they like about you, well #1 on that list is she is about the nicest, thoughtful person i have ever met.
k so we also just had a bachelor party for my friend kyle whom is getting married in the logan temple on the 31st. I am really proud of him for preparing himself for the temple. Faith was a long journey for him. He has always been a God fearing man, but coming around to LDS gospel was a job for him (just for the fact that he thinks things out thoroughly and doesnt act without knowing). So way to go kyle and look forward to seeing what kind of children you and judy produce (judy being the name of his new love doll)

Endowments
Well me and my father did it. We went through the Jordan River Temple and received our Endowments. It was an amazing experience. I cant put into words how i felt, although i felt nothing what people warned me of. People said youll feel over whelmed and confused by the symbolism but for me it made a lot of sense, although i performed poorly remembering some of the things to say. The Jordan River temple is the busiest temple out there doing about 25% of the churches temple work (so i heard). Once the day break temple is complete west jordan will be the first city with two temples. every angel moroni faces east accept one, the Navoo temple. So those are some of the facts i can share i learned. Now for those who came with me, first and formost was my father, it was a cooperative effort on our parts that helped both of us along.
Secondly our escorts, my nephew Casey being mine and my bro-in-law kent being my fathers, thank you greatly. third of all my amazing sister lisa.
My brother-in-laws folks and sister joined as well with there daughter, thank you to them as well. And finally i have been blessed with the greatest friends a guy can have and to see Brad, Daniel, Steve, and Stephanie there made it all that more special. Afterwards one embraced me with tears of joy and i could not hold back, a truly magical experience. go to the temple, everyone!

Family campout
Well this year for my family campout we went to boulder utah. It is probable the coolest place on earth and it holds a special place amongst my family. We fished, shot guns, explored, cliff jumped, picniced, had some amazing meals, and most of all just enjoyed one anothers company.
Ps in this pic the river had a flash flood the night before thus it was so muddy, it seriously felt like swimming in chocalate milk

Yuba friends
well this is the second weekend of three busy weekends. It was a ton of fun hanging with friends in yuba despite the horrible weather. Yuba is known for it being windy but for the forth of july it was windy for about 48 hours straight which made for some great tubbing but not much else. But despite the weather we came through and had an amazing time. It had the usual horseshoes, sun, bbq, sand, friends, and all the other good stuff, but this year it had the addition of a night time rave. Brad and daniel came up with the brilliant idea to bring glow sticks. Brad was adorned from head to toe and ran screaming up and down the beach. Pretty darned funny. So to those who werent there well see you next year!
