Butterfly icons Preview
I have been immersed in making lots of butterfly icons for various icontests lately, so I've added to them making 30 lovely icons in total, several of which are animated. There is also a large, special animated banner of a butterfly in full flight, which can be placed in the userinfo if taken

I went through my art folders//paper piles//sketchpads yesterday and scanned or photographed everything I haven't yet shared. This time, my theme is PS Company, which naturally means that I'm sharing works inspired by the wonderful bands of the said record label^_^

It's been quite a while since anyone's posted here (unless I missed something...), so I thought I'd go ahead and share a couple of recent drawings. My new addiction is Smallville, so. *g*

Anyway, any suggestions, recommendations, or critiques are welcome. Drawings were done with a regular old #2 mechanical pencil and an 8B drawing pencil, and various blending sticks.

What: a piece of art inspired by Milo Ventimiglia/Alexis Bledel and Dima Bilan
Paper: white A3 (=2x a normal sheet)
Pencils: 4h, 3h, 2h, h, hb, b, 2b, 4b
+ink, watercolors
Original photography by: Milo -Zink magazine, Alexis -Sheryl Neilds
I found some amazing pictures of Milo and Alexis and I just had to draw something. My drawing is just inspired by the photos, I wasn't trying to copy Alexis and Milo -I wanted to draw a beautiful girl and a handsome boy, and, I guess, in that I succeeded. The drawing is based on a song called Not That Simple (Ti dolzhna ryadom byt) which is performed by a Russian pop star Dima Bilan.

Done entirely using a .07 lead mechanical pencil (as all of my drawings are...lol)

I'm not jumping with joy over the result, but I like it alright overall. It took bout 3 weeks to do in Art class.
I got to see him at his concert at Beau Rivage in Biloxi, MS. He is amaaazing :D It was evidently Beau Rivage's last show ever before the hurricane destroyed it :(

It's been forever since my last fan art update. Guh. Time flies too fast. But now I'm back with some C/C-love. ^_^
