Snow Fun

Zoey did not really care for the snow. She warmed up a little to it and ran around in it some but did not want to touch it. Hopefully some sledding will be in our future!

Zoey Facts

There are no words to express the joys of motherhood. I love it so much and love our little girl like crazy. She brings so much love, joy, and laughter into our home. I love seeing her grow and learn. And it seems like she is doing so much of that lately! 

 Zoey loves Winnie the Pooh and can listen to the old theme song over and over and over again.

 Zoey enjoyed pulling and blowing the dandelions. 

 Loves to play "peek a boo" or "where's Zoey?" 

 Big smiles! 

Zoey likes to pretend she is drinking from things all the time! This girl. :) She also loves to "blow" her nose on everything. This last week or so she also started to twirl around. She loves to sit in her princess chair and cuddle and talk with her stuffed animals. She is quite affectionate and gives good hugs and kisses. She loves her vegetables, especially peas! Sometimes it is hard to get her to eat things besides vegetables. :) She is  good at playing by herself and with others. She also enjoys reading lots of books each day.

Zoey Belle

 Most of the cupboards in the kitchen are locked but we leave the one open with containers so that she can play and explore. She loves to get into it and pull them out! Sometimes I wonder why we buy so many toys when she can so easily entertain herself!

 This last weekend we had an accident on the couch so I had to take off a cushion to clean it and she decided to start playing on the couch this way and now she is constantly wanting the cushions off so she can play on the couches! 

Silly Zoey

 The last month or so Zoey has been obsessed with putting things around her neck or on her head. She likes to put pants, underwear, tights, bibs, whatever she can get a hold of. She is so funny.

Library Visits

 Over the last month we started going to the library once a week for story time. They sing songs, go over a new letter, have a puppet show, and read a book. To say Zoey loves it is an understatement. She is in heaven when she is there! She loves being around others and is so social. She is so fun!

She runs around like crazy after it. 

Halloween

We don't have good luck with Halloween as a family so far. Last year Zoey was sick with a fever because she had her 2 month check up and had gotten shots. This year Rafa and I woke up with the flu and it was horrible. We were sick and in bed all day! :(  We didn't get to answer the door for trick or treaters that night. Luckily Aunt Laura came and took Zoey and she was able to enjoy the night at Grandma and Grandpa Wards.

Pumpkin Patch Fun!

Rafa and I carved our pumpkins that night and had paint for Zoey to do hers but she did not want anything to do with painting it so she just helped us out with ours some. She enjoyed listening to music and playing in the cupboard while we did ours. I thought I took pictures of that but I guess not!

Back in August we took Zoey to the zoo for the first time! Aunt Laura was able to join in on the fun. Zoey enjoyed seeing the animals. She of course loved the monkeys!

Zoey's 1st birthday!

We had Zoey's birthday party the weekend after she turned 1. Her birthday was on Thursday and we had her party Saturday night. We had mostly family and then a few friends and their kids.

Our beautiful little girl! It's so hard to believe a year has passed. It went by so fast! It has been the best year. We love having Zoey in our family.
