Can you believe March is upon us? This year is passing so quickly and it feels like Christmas is almost here. :) In any case, I have been crafting more lately and it sure serves as a perfect outlet for my otherwise busy life.

I am a simple crafter and card maker by nature but it was exciting to participate in a mixed media challenge! Today is Mixed Media Madness at The Greeting Farm. I dusted off my Distress Inks and made a background for a water scene. It was fun to combine both digital and clear images on cardstock.Of course, I used my favorite Copic Markers to color up the images. :) I definitely stepped out of my comfort zone and I am so glad I did. I am going to continue to play with different backgrounds for future projects. :)

I created this tag using a no-name mega tag die cut. I have discovered very affordable steel dies from eBay and it cut wonderfully! Will probably purchase more! :) I punched cloud shapes with post it notes and used this to mask a sky scene. I stamped and paper pieced the balloons and colored up the little boy image with Copic Markers. This clear stamp set is so versatile and can be used for so many events- birthdays, outdoor scenes, springtime, etc.

Hello, crafty friends! Today is preview day of the new clear stamp set MEGA-MINI LIFT OFF. I created this card on this release day using our new MEGA-MINI LIFT OFF and revived an older stamp set Sitting Lovely. I paired them up to create an outdoor scene with a stylish mom and daughter playing at the park. It was fun to use good old fashioned masking to create the sky background and Copic Markers to create the grass!

february farm fresh challenge.

Happy February! I can't believe it is the 2nd month of the year! The days are just flying by! This month's Farm Fresh Challenge at The Greeting Farm showcases 3D projects. Here is my entry into the challenge, a card full of handmade paper flowers, using paper punches and dies. After a few burned fingers from my trusty glue gun, I completed the card background! :)
