His wisdom teeth are out!

He has had a physical!

He filled out all the paper work!

He has had an interview with the Bishop!

He has had an interview with the Stake President!

His papers are in!

Now………..

…..we are waiting to find out where he will go!

I am so excited for him!

Price's final basketball season

We are about to have the last basketball game of Price's senior year.  

I'm kind of sad not to watch this boy play basketball any more.  

It has been a major part of our lives for most of his life.

But then again in high school, so has golf, cross country, swim team, and track...

….Let's bring on volleyball season!

One thing Price does not do is sit around and do nothing.

It's Official!

Sydney got her driver's permit!!!

On the way home from church yesterday there were 5 cars with permitted drivers at the wheel.  

It was shall we say, a little scary, but we all made it home safely!

Getting ready for school we were listening to Pandora and the song by Rascal Flats "Take me There" came on

Eliza:  That's creepy!
Me:  What?
Eliza:  This song, "I want to know everything about you, go down every road you've been..."
Me:  He's in love with her.
Eliza:  That makes more sense.

Putting Eliza to bed tonight she kept bringing up new things to talk about to prolong the inevitable...

Eliza:  I wonder what the Tooth Fairy looks like.
Me:  I hear she is really beautiful!  ;)

Eliza:  Mom, who were Adam and Eve's parents?
Me:  Heavenly Father and Mother

Eliza:  Do you think Adam and Eve had belly buttons?
Me:  That one, I do not know.

Eliza:  Hey Mom, which way are babies supposed to come out head first or feet first?
Me:  Head first.  Good night Liza.

Eliza:  Mom, will you please remember to call the tooth fairy and remind her to come?
Me:  Sure!
Eliza:  How do you even do that?
Me:  When you are a mom you'll know.
Eliza:  I don't even care how you do it ...... she's the only fairy I believe in.

Labor Day

For Labor Day we took a little trip up to the Payson area to go to Tonto Natural Bridge, 

one of my favorite childhood Arizona destinations.  

My brother Taylor, his son Steele and Price's friend, Whitney came with us.

We hiked and jumped from bolder to bolder.  It is really fun!  All of our kids are capable of getting themselves where we are going without much help.  I have to admit, I do enjoy that!

Carlsbad Caverns

I'm not feeling particularly wordy right now, so I'm going to let these pictures speak for themselves and take one step closer to being caught up with my blog.

San Antonio

On our way home from the cruise we took a few pit stops to make the 20 hour drive more bearable. 

 Our first stop was in San Antontio.  

Love that city!  

It was beautiful, The River Walk was breathtaking!
