My Mom by Makayla

These are questions I asked my daughter Makayla who is 5. Thought some of you other moms might want to do this with your little ones.

3. What makes mom sad? when I'm not being nice to her.

4. How does your mom make you laugh? tickeling you

5. What was your mom like as a child? A kid

6. How old is your mom? 6

7. How tall is your mom? so big

8. What is her favorite thing to do? you like to color

9. What does your mom do when you're not around? you're on the computer

10. If your mom becomes famous, what will it be for? i dont know

11. What is your mom really good at? coloring

12. What is your mom not very good at? keeping me happy

13. What does your mom do for her job? to do my hair

14. What is your mom's favorite food? vegetables

15. What makes you proud of your mom? when you make your bed

16. If your mom were a cartoon character, who would she be? a mom

17. What do you and your mom do together? we go out and hang with each other

18. How are you and your mom the same? we have the same hair

19. How are you and your mom different? we wear different shirts

20. How do you know your mom loves you? because you give me a hug and kiss everyday

21. What does your mom like most about your dad? you always hug and kiss him...it's gross.

22. Where is your mom's favorite place to go? the grocery store

My Mom by Garrett

3. What makes mom sad? um, not goin on the potty and when I fall on Gavin, and when I give you attitude.:)

7. How tall is your mom? he shows me his fingers and says:as tall as this one and points to his middle finger.

8. What is her favorite thing to do? play the piano

9. What does your mom do when you're not around? popping bubbles

10. If your mom becomes famous, what will it be for? um, don't know

11. What is your mom really good at? the dishes

12. What is your mom not very good at? making my bed

13. What does your mom do for her job? help gavin

14. What is your mom's favorite food? vegetables

15. What makes you proud of your mom? Thank you for buying vegetables, I love them.

Garrett had a harder time do this and he was really confused why I was asking him all of these questions.

HOW WELL DO YOU KNOW YOUR HUSBAND?

10. What is his favorite cereal? Total, Raisin Bran, Grape Nuts, healthy crap.

11. What would he never wear? He'll wear anything in his closet, but he won't buy preppy clothes.

12. What is his favorite sports team? Hates all sports, can't stand them.

13. Who did he vote for? Barr, he thought he was being funny.

14. Who are his best friends? James Birnie, Ethan Thompson(bro).

15. What is something you do that he wishes you wouldn't do? Get pregnant, not put the toilet roll back on.

16. How many states has he lived in ? 3; California, Utah, N. Carolina

17. What is his heritage? Um...we don't do Geneology.

18. You bake him a cake for his birthday, what kind of cake? Not Chocolate. Actually he's not a cake eater so he would vouce for none.

19. Did he play sports in high school? Track and Football

20. What could he spend hours doing? sleeping, working on jeeps(trucks), doing research on the internet.

21. What is something cool about him? He loves me most of all!!!!

U of U

K Jensen's you all know this shirt very well and remember the memories that go with it. This shirt started with Dallas then went to Chase, then to Garrett and now Gavin. Stupid me I don't have a picture of Garrett in it.

Isn't it amazing that the shirt is still alive with no holes. Just goes to show you that the U of U will be standing forever. GO UTES!!

I asked Dad if he would scan some pictures of me so you could see how cute I was...Just Kidding...I wanted to show some contrast of the shirt. I guess I should have had him scan a picture of Dallas in his shirt. I will never get rid of this shirt. Once I'm done having kids I will pass it down. Ian once you have a boy I will send it your way.

Jump n' Jammin

On President's day we took the kids to Jump n' Jammin to get some energy out and everyone else in SoCal had the same idea. There was a huge line to get in and you have to stand outside and it was raining and freezing. Jump n' Jammin is kind of like bounce houses and McDonald playgrounds all put together.

Once we got in we all had to take our shoes and jackets off. That was a HUGE pain in the butt. It was really loud inside and both the boys hated it. We went with the Kesler's which made Kayla extremely happy to be with Kacy...they ran around with each other which took a load off of me.

There was a huge ball pit so I had Eli take Gavin in and sit against the wall so Gavin could play with the balls and Eli could still read his book(why he brought a book...I don't know). Garrett was really timid and scared so I walked around with him and showed him what he could do. After awhile of pushing Garrett into having some fun I decided to just hang out in the ball pit with Eli and the baby. There were 3 boys who ganged up on Eli and decided to shoot and throw balls at him. I think it was because he was reading a book and not playing like everyone else. Eli eventually got into it and started throwing balls back. It was quite fun until they turned on me. An hour and half later the kids were begging me to take them home. I think it was just a little to crowed for them. All in all it was fun, but too expensive.

CHP'ers at their finest

I was going through my pictures and came across these again. This is when Eli VOLENTEERED to get tased. The office was getting there new tasers and some signed up to learn about them and learn what it feels like to get tased. This is right before they tased him...notice the smile....

This is being taxed. They had two guys hold onto him so he wouldn't fall on his face, they gently laid him down.

Yup...he still can't move. It constricts all your muscles.....he was unmovable for about 10 seconds.

This is what the taser looks like. Eli got shot in the upper arm and the back. It ripped his shirt when they ripped it out of him. The spot on his back turned green and looked infected for a few days. The holes in his arm were there for a few weeks. He was very proud of is battle wounds and had me take pictures.

24. DID YOU TAKE MEDICINE TO EASE THE PAIN? Epidural, and some drug in my IV. It was awful, it made me so luppy and sleepy....I don't recommend it to anyone.

Lizzy the Lizard

This is Lizzy the Lizard. He showed up on our door today at 1:00 and hasn't left. We were excited when we found him and were playing with him through the screen.

Eli knocked him off the screen and he ran right back on. It's now 5:15 and he's still on there sleeping.
