Time for a semi annual blog post.

When Eden was 6 yrs., she asked me if she could buy a pet. I said no but maybe when she was 8 1/2. I was fully expecting her to forget. However, for over two years she has scrimped and saved to buy a bunny. I am so proud of her patience and determination. Now she is the owner of this miniature bunny that she bought with her own money. she said yesterday was the best day of her life. That was also because the Jayhawks won their final 4 game and we went to the huge block party downtown at 11 pm. Justin loves the bunny as much as her.

Jude's 5th birthday party was at the nature center. Jude has lots of friends, and everyone showed up.

This cake was more trouble than it was worth . . . well I don't know. It was a pretty big hit with the 5 year old crowd.

We went to a lego exhibit inTopeka.

First day of preschool. He didn't blink an eye.

The first day of second grade. A real pro.

First day of kindergarten. He was nervous about his teacher telling him the rules so he would know what to do.

Miles turned three and is now a big kid. He thinks he is Eden's big brother, but his siblings keep him in check. He wanted a Star Wars cake. I just stuck some figurines on top and he thought it was the most amazing thing ever. He got a load of presents, but his favorite has been his legos. They have been on our kitchen table straight since the big day. He gets excited when everybody else goes to school and he gets to stay home a play legos with Daddy.

I have decided to take advantage of a solitary yet large workspace. I have started doing an "office workout" 2X a day. This dictionary was a real gem that I found laying around, and I can do some serious curls with it.

Eden has lost 6 of her front teeth in the last year and only grown back 2 of them. She can hardly eat and is wasting away. So we decided to do something about it . . .

P.S. Justin and I have never sent out Christmas cards, so don't feel slighted if you have never received one. We made a resolve to start next year. You have a year to prepare as you deem necessary.
