France: Framework procurement has been announced by Île-de-France Mobilités, the transport authority for the Paris region, and national operator SNCF.
Germany: Last week, the electric freight locomotives were shipped at the Port of Hamburg. The batch is expected to arrive in Alexandria by late February.
Last week the Russian government received the latest progress report on production of the trainset for the Moscow–St Petersburg high-speed line.
Malaysia: The rolling stock arrived from China at the end of last year, following a full cycle of tests at the manufacturer’s plant in Dalian. Now, one electric locomotive and two six-car trainsets are due to cover 8,000 km of test running.
UK: The four-coach Class 220 unit, originally built by Bombardier Transportation in 2000 (acquired by Alstom in 2021), has undergone refurbishment at the company’s Derby facility.
