Thats a poor excuse to spit on the fans that built their fanbase to begin with.
There are games sold on here that are larger than 1GB, so that isnt the issue. Also I sincerely doubt the game is that large anyway
Saw the newest video and had some suggestions
1. Instead of generic car enemies make a Clown biome where the cars are clown themed and when you defeat them a few clown enemies pop out of it
2. If you still want roaming vehicles as enemies and potential mounts later you could make them be motorcycles ( or I guess monstercycles ) bikes that have googly eyes, squiggles or whatever coming out of them, not just generic looking motorcycles. This also fits the theme you mentioned in the video about cars being like wild horses since motorcycles as often referred to IRL as Steel Horses :)
3. The inventory menu could be snazzled up a bit. Have the items floating in liquid ( I mean the game is juice themed after all ) and maybe have icons for the hands and head where things can be equipped to. Instead of fighting with the current menu you can just drag the item from the juice jar theyre floating in and onto the hand you want it equipped to, or the head. Just make sure the menu pauses the game so the player doesnt get attacked while going through items
4, I think in the video you mentioned removing the Bubble biome? I hope this isnt true, that place and characters were really cool!
5. Do not waste dev time with extra game modes right now, especially the online leaderboard things. Wait till the game is near finished before messing with all that. Id even go as far as to say dont bother with leader boards at all. Online aspect is a whole can of worms to implement and will be a massive time sink with little to no real benefit to the game as a whole. People that want it will set their own rules for speedruns and do it anyway without the need of implementation, look at older n64 games as an example
I have a cool idea for the mini planets you could hide an entire map/larger area inside by doing using this effect from the video. He's using UE but Im sure it can be done in Unity as well. Could make some trippy stuff with it
[ Skip to 5:15 to see what Im talking about, dunno why it wont start at timestamp ]
I would add a little more cat themed stuff to the game, some examples;
1. The main menu - Have a bag of cat food with the cat sitting next to it and on the bag have the options for 'Single, Multi, Controls, Settings, Quit' on it making it look like its part of the bag's design and fit the rest of the toon theme
2. The speedometer could be shaped like a cat paw in a toon style like the rest of the game. The current one kind of clashes with the style. The lap, best time etc transparent bars looks fine. I'd add MPH/RPM to the speedometer for added humor
Ran into a bug where I cant move my character, I was able to fix it by messing with the mouse sensitively since another user mention that was a way to fix it. I have no idea why this is the default, same issue as the black screen at the beginning how is the player supposed to know to mess with the FOV slider to fix that? I really hope a new patch/update comes out to fix this

The Creator
I'd recommend changing his name, calling him The Creator makes it seem like its a final boss thing. Also the location is kind of random for him too, he should have his own dedicated area instead of the basement of the house.
So my suggestions would be these
1. Change his name to Prince Pollywog or something since he uses those as attacks. Move his statue entrance to another part of the map, maybe make a biome for the pollywogs like a swamp or something. You could still use the cave theme for him by having his statue in a cave in that biome or part of a fountain, I'd also tweak his arena to fit the pollywog kingdom theme a little more. Mostly speaking decorations wise, the floor being yellow green like it is currently looks good. Just needs stuff to make it look like a throne room and not just an open area
2. If you move his fight/statue you can replace the basement boss with something else. Like you said in the dev video its pretty rough as a first boss encounter anyway. The new boss there could be a giant basement centipede ( I forget what the proper insect name is ) and give it some interesting attacks. It can be reached in the same manner as the Creator, by that I mean you go down a hole and drop into its lair
For Toilet Realm;
Give plunger guy a proper arena. Something that looks more industrial like rusted metal/boiler room vibe. The platform he stands on can be a pipe with a metal grate over it. This way you could also add a gate that comes down when you enter the area so he doesnt roll out of the room and mess up the cutscene.
I would also add something to reduce the chance of epilepsy during the Swirly D encounter for people with photosensitivity
So is he supposed to be the final boss of the game? If not, I'd recommend changing his name, calling him The Creator makes it seem like its a final boss thing. Also the location is kind of random for him too, he should have his own dedicated area instead of the basement of the house.

I know your name is TrashGames but you have something here with a lot of potential!
Some ideas for this;
