HOW WE CARE FOR OUR ENVIRONMENT

At Roots of Respect, sustainability is not a single action – it’s a living practice. Here’s how we intentionally care for our environment, our community and the spaces we share:

We use non-toxic paint throughout the house to protect air quality and create healthier spaces for clients and practitioners.

All cleaning products are non-toxic, eco-friendly and refillable wherever possible.

Much of our furniture, décor and equipment is preloved, restored or locally sourced, reducing waste and giving quality items a second life.

We choose long-lasting, repairable materials over disposable ones.

We prioritise suppliers who are local, independent, ethical and B-Corp aligned, supporting sustainable business practices and keeping our footprint low.

Our recycling methods are easy to follow, clearly labelled and accessible throughout the building, helping everyone reduce waste with confidence.

Every room includes thoughtfully chosen plants that help purify the air, improve wellbeing and bring the calm, natural feel that Roots is known for.

We use low-energy LED lighting, mindful heating schedules and encourage all practitioners to be energy-aware during sessions and events.

Anything new we bring into the space is chosen with intention – ethical sourcing, durability, low toxicity, minimal packaging and long-term use.

Through the Roots Circle, we encourage shared learning, seasonal reflection and collective responsibility so the whole community can grow with the same values at heart.
